Hilary Duff was one of the many people who helped celebrated MTV?s TRL Total Finale Live at the MTV Studios in Times Square on Sunday in New York City. Backstage at the show, Hilary talked about the song ?Reach Out? featured on her greatest hits LP, ?Best of Hilary Duff?. The song actually features a sample from a Depeche Mode song called ?Personal Jesus?. The 21-year old singer told MTV ?It?s different for me. It?s a little dancey, and there?s a rapper named Prophet who?s on it who?s really cool and kinda fresh.?

David Archuleta got the crowd going wild when he performed on MTV?s TRL in New York City last week. That may very well have been his first and last appearance on the show. Unless of course MTV decides to bring the show back. The 17-year old American Idol runner up?s debut album hit stores last week just as his new song ?Desperate? hit the airwaves. David was also recently interviewed on The Billy Bush Show and spoke his self-titled album saying ?We experimented on this album and that way I didn?t get stuck in a niche. I wanted to make sure there was a variety.?
