Diddy’s after-parties are not cheap

The rapper is currently touring with his Diddy-Dirty Money project and their tour will be taking them to New York on the 22nd of April. However, it seems that Diddy is being a bit up-tight and too demanding with regards to hosting an after-party. Diddy is asking for a fee of $45, 000 to host his own after-party, twenty five of those being his own personal fee in addition to a few other conditions. This is what one nightlife promoter had to say about Diddy’s conditions: “It’s unlikely that a club in New York would pay that amount. For that amount of money, Vegas makes sense. That’s normal for Vegas. New York doesn’t work like that.” So it’s back to the mansion for Diddy… or perhaps the hotel? That must bring back some interesting party memories… fiery times those were.

Diddy is getting sued

Well this wouldn�t be that much of a surprise since what superstar�s life is complete if they don�t get sued every so often, but this case is a highly different one. It seems Diddy is being sued for the ridiculous sum of one trillion dollars. A woman by the name of Valerie Joyce Wilson Turks has compiled quite the interesting list of charges against Diddy: he�s responsible for the September 11th attacks, he stole a poker chit from her with the value of �100 zillion dollars�, he is the father of her 23 year-old son and she wants child support, he sexually assaulted her children while they were dating and broke one of her boys� legs. What�s even more fascinating is that a judge has actually set a hearing for Diddy�s new little trial. This one should be interesting.

Former Bad Boy Rapper Confesses to Murder

Trevelle Coleman, a former rapper who performed under the name G-Dep and was signed to a 5-album deal with Diddy�s Bad Boy Records in 1998, has reportedly admitted to an unsolved murder in Harlem that happened 17 years ago. Trevelle reportedly walked into the 25th Precinct in New York City last week and said �I shot and killed someone 17 years ago.� According to him, the crime took place in 1993 when he attempted to rob 32-year old John Henkel. When the man resisted, Trevelle shot and killed him. He fled the scene and threw the weapon into the East River. He has since been charged with murder and is being held without bail.

This is probably a notable first. It looks like a rapper by the name of Trevell Coleman who has been signed to Diddy�s record company, �Bad Boy Records�, since 1998 has recently walked into a New York City and admitted to killing a man� seventeen years ago! Now that�s a pretty impressive stretch of the conscience. It seems that Trevell Coleman was trying to rob someone back in �93 and it all backfired. Well that�s one crime off of the unsolved list� probably only a few more thousand or so to go. Still, it�s good to see that the better side of human nature finally prevails� makes you hope for a better tomorrow� seventeen years from now.

Diddy Owes New York

It�s time for Diddy to pay for what he owes but nobody thought that the rapper would actually owe something to New York. The entertainment mogul is being fined almost $1 million by NYC for illegally putting up promotional posters all over the Big Apple and they are not messing around with this one. Finance commissioner David Frankel said �We are going to find these people. We’re going to turn them upside down by their ankles and we’re going to shake them until the money comes out of their pockets.� I doubt Diddy would be intimidated by that but I would hope that he pays up before he gets shunned by his own city.

Diddy has set his eyes on a sugababe

It seems the rapper has recently set his eyes on one of the Sugababes, namely Jade Ewen. This is what a source said about Diddy�s new passion: “He thinks Jade is amazing and loves her voice. He’s hoping to be in London in March and will be looking her up.” Really nice of Diddy to give this heads up so soon, saves all of that pesky taking by surprise trouble. Maybe until he does get to see Jade Ewen, Diddy will find someone else to amuse himself with. Maybe she�ll be the one who gets all of the benefits of surprises and whatnot� those have to go somewhere too.

Diddy Spreads the Wealth

If you�ve got it, flaunt it. Diddy threw himself a lavish 40th birthday party at the Plaza in New York City on Saturday with a hefty $3 million price tag. Guests were treated to a �fantasy Garden of Eden-themed room� which included a $30,000 orchid arrangement as well as a customized black dance floor and black chandeliers. The attendees included the likes of Jay-Z, Bono, Martha Stewart, Christy Turlington and Denzel Washington. And they were all privy to a private performance from legendary soul singer Al Green. It sounds like the rap mogul loves to share his wealth with his friends.

In preparing for his countdown for his big 40th birthday, Diddy is promising the party of the century to celebrate the great four decades of his life on Thursday. The party will be held at the Plaza Hotel�s Grand Ballroom in New York City and will evoke a fantasy dreamland courtesy of event planner Bronson Van Wyck. There will be a fashion installation, labyrinth, performance art and a display by �wizard of light� Bentley Meeker. Guests include the likes of Queen Latifah, Russell Simmons, Spike Lee, Zac Posen, Lil Kim and a special musical guest. Who�s willing to bet that it will be Diddy performing?

Diddy Gives and Loses

While filming 106 & Park, Diddy accidentally hurled a $20,000 ring into a crow and in the entertainment mogul�s attempt to get it back, alienated every person in that New York City avenue. The rapper held 160 audience members hostage while he ordered security to frisk them, making them feel like common criminals. One witness said �He ain’t getting’ it back. Someone pocketed that, and they probably took it to the nearest jeweler.� Do you want to know something stupid? Diddy was actually responsible for the madness as he and his new group Dirty Money were seen tossing around wads of fake $100 bills and it was discovered that some real money was mixed in. The audience went wild and as he was throwing the money out, Diddy�s ring flew off.

Diddy Partners Up with BlackBook

Diddy is partnering up with BlackBook magazine for an iPhone application featuring a guide chock-full of the hip hop mogul�s favorite restaurants, clubs and shops nationwide, complete with editorial reviews. The rapper joins Bravo, The CW and Modern Luxury who all have their own versions of the BlackBook guide. BlackBook�s plan is to launch hundreds of them. To promote the new app, Diddy is appearing on the cover of the October issue. It�s all part of the company�s plan to expand their guidebook brand to the mobile media world. I wonder who else they will be doing the app for.

Diddy Shuts Down New York

Sunday night wouldn�t have been a complete success without Diddy doing something. Apparently, the rapper caused all sorts of crazy following last weekend�s VMAs. After partying it up at New York City�s 1Oak, Diddy made his way out to the middle of 17th Street and quickly found himself surrounded by a mob of fans. An onlooker said that it was absolute chaos! It�s Diddy � you can�t expect any less. Diddy was then asked by an undercover cop to go back to the club but he wasn�t having any of it. Things got so out of control that the NYPD has to shut down 17th Street between 9th and 10th Avenue.

An artist has sued rap mogul Sean �Diddy� Combs because he feels that the rapper has copied the design of a sculpture for his fragrance bottle. Last week Tom Patti filed a lawsuit in the federal court wherein he claims that Diddy�s Unforgivable scent packing is a complete copy of 2 copyrighted glass sculptures designed by him way back in the 1980�s.

If Tom is to be believed then his design conceptions Compacted Gray With Clear And Ribs and another one called Modulated Solar Airframe have striking to similar design to Diddy�s gray glass bottle.

This is one man who is clearly taking a chance to laying his hands on free money and gaining publicity for his antique and forgotten relics. This chap had designed them some 30 years ago and all of a sudden his eyes fall upon something of a slight infringement and his eyes have lit up.

Certainly he�s got nothin better to do and thinks this is his last chance to fame and money.

Diddy always likes to stir things up and I?m pretty sure he stirred it up with a couple of Catholics when he showed up dressed as the Pope to his Halloween party at Lucky Strike Lanes in New York City. His rumored girlfriend but insistently just his prot?g? Cassie was at his side, dressed as Wonder Woman. Well, America is ready for the first African American president. Maybe the world is ready for the first black Pope. Hey, if we can portray Jesus as black and white, why can?t we with everything else? I can?t believe Diddy just helped open my mind a little.
