Nick Cannon finally puts a rest to the rumors

There have been numerous rumors and speculation with regards to the fact that Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are having twins. The rapper, being the head of the future family as he is, decided to end all of the speculation during a recent radio show of his. This is what Nick Cannon had to say: “In order for my wife and I to have our life, we need to be up front and I need to be able to share things with you and be real. I didn’t even tell my wife I was gonna do this. I’m probably gonna get yelled at for not getting permission … We are having twins!” Yet another rumor put to rest. How kind of Nick Cannon to do this for all of us! Hopefully Mariah Carey will be just as kind when she hears about it too.

Mariah Carey Fails to Sell

People apparently don�t want to spend New Year�s with Mariah Carey. The singer�s New Year�s Eve concert at Madison Square Garden is facing dismal sales numbers. It�s her first New York City concert in years and sources say that it has thousands of unsold seats. Tickets on all levels are still highly available and there are tons of unsold VIP packages as well. Maybe Mariah and her hubby Nick Cannon should just go for a quiet night alone to ring in the New Year. It looks like no one else wants to see her anyway. She should just give up already.

Mariah Promotes New Movie

Mariah Carey and her hubby Nick Cannon make an appearance together at the Late Show with David Letterman this past Monday in New York City. The 39-year old singer was there to talk about her new film �Precious�. The movie actually took in a respectable $1.8 million in box office sales despite running in just 18 theaters throughout the United States. �Precious� is based on a novel by Sapphire called �Push�. The film takes place in Harlem and shows the life of a disadvantaged teen that has struggled through life up to that point. Mariah also announced that she will be performing live at New York�s Madison Square Garden for a special New Year�s Eve performance.

Mariah Carey loves her gays and the gays love her back. On Saturday, during the last show of the singer�s residency at The Palms in Las Vegas, the diva pulled out a special surprise when she brought a young gay couple on stage. That�s when one of them took the mic and proposed to is partner! He even proposed like Nick Cannon with a pink/purple candy ring. The guy told Mariah that his partner of three years had once said that he would only accept a marriage proposal if he ever got the chance to meet the singer. I guess he really wanted to get married because he made it happen. Mariah congratulated the couple and even shared some champagne with them on stage.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon recently made it to the one year mark of their wedding. The couple held a modestly-sized party for their first anniversary, inviting 50 of their closest family and friends to the Palms Casino in Las Vegas last week to celebrate the occasion with them. After dinner, Nick surprised Mariah with a slideshow of the couple�s most memorable moments of the past year. Mariah was seen bawling after watching it. After that, 1000 balloons were released through the moon roof before the crowd toasted to the happy couple and ate a 5-tiered Duncan Hines yellow cake. Yum!

Nick Cannon not worthy to appear on a Mariah Carey album

Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey�s husband, recently said he is not good enough to appear on one of his wife�s records: “I am not worthy of being on a Mariah Carey record. Please, we’re going to try to keep her career soaring. I can’t even step into the studio with that woman. She is incredible.” Nick Cannon doesn�t really set the bar too high for himself, does he? Now you can understand the �doubtful� nature of his musical career. Well, at least we found out where Mariah Carey gets that diva attitude she has been displaying in recent years. It�s a marriage thing, it seems.

Nick Cannon Lands a Job

Nick Cannon finally gets himself a job as he is set to replace Jerry Springer as the host of �America�s Got Talent� on NBC this summer. NBC exec Ben Silverman called Nick �a true triple threat, a multi-talented producer, actor and musician� not to mention a very good allowance collector. Maybe they�ve never met before or that Silverman has never even heard of the guy and just wants a replacement for Springer. I wonder what Mariah Carey had to promise NBC to get her hubby that job. Nick will be hosting alongside judges Sharon Osbourne, Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff.

The ?Always Be My Baby? singer posed along her husband on the red carpet.

The stunning singer was sporting a fabulous, conservative deep purple dress with silver heels while her husband Nick Cannon was wearing a grey three-piece suit with a pink shirt.

The couple was looking striking cool and madly in love, unlike her role in the upcoming movie ?Tennessee?, where she plays a enthusiastic woman running away from her abusive husband.

The movie is set to be released in December.

They?re really going out more publicly after rumors came out that they were already having trouble in their marriage. In other Mariah news, 39-year old curvaceous diva is set to perform at the fifth annual Fashion Rocks concert which is slated for September 5th at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Other performers listed on the line up include the likes of Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban and Rihanna.
