Kate Middleton has reportedly turned to snacking to help get her body baby-ready. The Duchess of Cambridge dropped from a UK size 10 to a size 6 after getting engaged to Prince William last year. Now she has apparently managed to get back up to a size eight in an effort to get her body healthy before starting a family. “Kate Middleton knows people have been making unkind remarks,” a source told Now magazine. “She’s tried all sorts of approaches but nothing seemed to work. Now she’s finally found the solution and it’s one that any woman would kill for: snacking. “Her philosophy is that every time she’s offered a biscuit or a sweet treat she says ‘yes’. “She’s gone up a dress size and is now an 8. She and Prince William are yearning for a baby. They feel ready. Kate’s read dozens of books on the subject and knows she needs to take care of her health.”

Mario Lopez is supporting Chaz Bono on Dancing With The Stars

Mario Lopez said he’s supporting Chaz Bono on the new series of Dancing With The Stars. The Extra host said he wants to see Bono, 42 – the son of singer Cher – take the trophy at the end of the show, despite the fact it hasn’t even started yet. He said to In Touch: “I’d love to see Chaz win this season. Especially with all of the drama going on, I’d love him to win.” Some critics have threatened to boycott the show because Bono, who completed a gender reassignment last year, is taking part in the new series of the show with professional dancer Lacey Schwimmer.

Naomi Campbell to receive charity honour

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is to be honoured for her charity work. The 41-year-old, who has raised more than $7 million for charitable causes, and her boyfriend, Vladislav Doronin, will be awarded at the Angel Ball in New York, an event organised by the Angel Foundation, which aims to raise awareness of cancer research. Denise Rich, the songwriter who started the Angel Foundation after her daughter, Gabrielle, died of leukaemia, said: “She really is an amazing woman and she does a lot for charity. She has her own charity. She raised a lot of money this summer for Haiti and for AIDS relief.” The Angel Ball is due to be held in New York on October 17 and will feature DJ Cassidy, Patti LaBelle and Eve.

Kennedy’s daughter Caroline has revealed that her father was great at inventing bedtime stories when she was a child – and some of them were pretty surreal. “I got to pick what was in them then he would make them up,” said the 53 year-old. The daughter of Jackie O admitted that she was sometimes the heroine in the stories – which often featured ponies and her cousin, Stevie. “My father was spectacular at making up stories and he used to tell me about a purple shark,” she said. “He said that there was a purple shark that used to follow the Honey Fitz,” added Caroline referring to the Presidential Yacht. “The shark would follow the boat and eat socks,” she said.

Kat Von D and Jesse James’ engagement is officially back on. The couple split last month amid reports that the distance between their homes in Los Angeles and Texas had become too much for them. But James and Von D took to Twitter and posted loved-up looking pictures themselves. Jesse told People magazine that Kat has started wearing her ring again. “Sometimes you are only given one chance in life,” he said. “It was up to me to open my eyes and see it. That girl is my chance. I will never stop fighting and striving to hold on to her. Showing her how special she is, and how much I love her.”

Mayor renames street ‘Justin Bieber Way’

An 11-year-old mayor has changed the name of one her town’s streets to “Justin Bieber Way”. Caroline Gonzalez won a competition to be “Mayor For One Day” in Forney, Texas. Officially changing the name of the street was Gonzalez’s first task. “I like his music and I like him,” she said. “So I thought, why not have a street in my hometown named after my favourite singer?”

New York woman charged with stalking Oscar winner Marion Cotillard

A New York woman has been charged with stalking Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard. The French star was allegedly the subject of a chilling video made by Teresa Yuan and sent to a Cotillard fan site according to the FBI. “The guilt and the sorrow I feel now, I won’t feel after it happens,” Yuan reportedly says in the video. “After it happens I’ll feel no regrets whatsoever, that’s apparently how it feels to be a killer, to be a murderer.” The FBI was alerted in April by the administrator of the website who told them Yuan had sent a string of increasingly threatening emails and videos. According to the papers Cotillard and her family had ‘become concerned for their physical safety.’

The Amazing Spider-Man co-stars were spotted in a corner banquette at a West Hollywood hotel bar on July 25, where they shared drinks and snacks before slinking off to the bedroom. According to Us Weekly, the couple, who are said to have been dating since June, arrived at the bar at 10.50pm. They were locked in an animated conversation before Garfield asked the waiter to put the bill ‘on my room’, and headed to the elevator with Stone. And a source said that the pair is intent on keeping their relationship on the quiet. “It’s very hush-hush!” said the insider.

A-Rod under investigation after accusations of underground poker games

Baseball big shot Alex Rodriguez is under investigation for allegedly playing in a series of high-stakes, underground poker games in Beverly Hills, California. Rodriguez, aka A-Rod, would be in big trouble if he is found guilty and could even face suspension from Major League Baseball. The alleged actions of the 36-year-old slugger, who has an off-again-on-again romance with Cameron Diaz, 38, were first reported by US celebrity magazine Star and the gossip website Radar Online. Reporter at Star magazine, Dylan Howard, defended the allegations on US news show Good Morning America on Thursday. Star alleges that stars like Spider-Man Tobey Maguire, 36, were also involved in the subversive parties: “These players would go to the venues, knock on the door and have to say a password to be allowed to go in,” said Howard. Radar Online alleged that at one of the card games: “Cocaine was openly used and a fight nearly broke out when one of the players refused to pay after loosing more than half a million dollars.” While is has not been suggested that A-Rod has done anything illegal the baseball authorities have already strongly discouraged him from gambling and players are fired if they gamble on baseball. A-Rod has been in trouble before too – in 2009 he admitted taking steroids. Maguire’s publicist is yet to comment.

Hollywood star Kirsten Dunst has opened up about her ‘delicate’ battle with depression, and how it influenced her latest film role. The 29-year-old had to check into a treatment facility back in 2008 to be treated for depression. And in her new movie Melancholia, directed by Lars von Trier, she plays a woman called Justine with the illness. She says her own battles with the mood disorder were part of the reason she wanted to star in the flick. In an interview with UK Elle magazine, Dunst said: “I have experienced depression. Many people have. Mine was caused by a few things. I felt a lot of stress from all these different areas and I needed to… It’s delicate. “You can go through many wrong doors before it gets right. I brought my own slant [to the role] but I am very much portraying Lars’ experience of depression. We met before I did the movie and talked about how the light goes out of your eyes. People don’t talk about depression, so for me it was really amazing that this was going to be portrayed.” Relationships are thought to be one of the reasons Kirsten sought treatment, after she split from musician Johnny Borrell. But the actress, who is currently romancing Jason Boesel, can’t imagine dating someone else in the movie industry. She added: “I don’t think actors should ever be together. How can two actors ever make a go of it? If you do what I do, you get to meet all these amazing actors, musicians, artists. It sounds great but you can be swept away and I want marriage and children. Not yet. In a few years with a Jimmy Stewart kind of guy who is gentle, graceful, intelligent, someone who live his life by a set of rules.”

Britney Spears shows us that she has a voice

Britney Spears has been accused several times that she uses a lot of autotune in her songs and her live voice at a concert would sound much worse than what you actually hear. There were even cases when in her voice recordings her voice sounds just like in the mixer at the concert and everyone accused her of not actually doing live shows. Now we already know that Britney’s Femme Fatale tour is only 50% live and the rest is playback, but what does her voice sounds like on her hit “Hold It Against Me” without computer assistance. Well, we can say the song sounds almost identical to the original, and Britney’s voice sounds pretty good without autotune, so we can only wonder why she uses so many special effects even when she really has a voice. And we wonder when she will be able to do a 100% live show.

Ari Gold Told to Move to Back of Bus

Ari Gold says that he was told to move to the back of a Short Line bus in New York after the bus driver said he was uncomfortable at the sight of his and another man holding hands. The singer said “The driver told us if we wanted to continue sitting together, we had to sit in the back.” The driver even had the nerve to call a state trooper which prompted Ari to announce to other passengers what was going on. The state trooper, naturally, saw nothing wrong. Ari plans on filing charges and posted an update to his Facebook page, saying “Haven’t reached anyone from Shortline yet-I’ll call Lamda Legal to see if there’s any action to take or at least make sure Shortline gives better employee training. I stood up to the driver despite my racing heart, I can only imagine what that might have done to someone who couldn’t.” Bravo to Ari for standing up for himself!

The singer has probably got hold of the fame methodology of collaborating with the more famous artists in order to further one’s career, a method popularized by Lil’ Wayne lately, and has admitted that he has a new list for possible collaborations in the future. This is what Ne-Yo had to say on the matter: ”There’s a couple of people who I might be collaborating with on the next album, I don’t know exactly who right now, but I’ve talked to a couple of people, Chris Brown and Dr. Dre, Beyonce about some stuff. But nothing is set in stone right now.” If Ne-Yo already has Beyonce and Dr. Dre in mind, why would he want to go for Chris Brown too? And you’d expect the most logical duet partner for his would be Mariah Carey… or is music not part of the marriage?

Blair Underwood to make Broadway debut in A Streetcar Named Desire

Blair Underwood is set to make his Broadway debut in A Streetcar Named Desire. The 46-year-old actor is best known for his role in the NBC show The Event, which was recently cancelled. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he will be making his debut on Broadway as Stanley Kowalski in the Tennessee Williams’ play A Streetcar Named Desire, which is being directed by Emily Mann. The show will be premiering on Broadway in the spring of 2012 but it is not yet known which theatre it will be showing at. The play follows the life of the former teacher and socialite Blanche DuBois, who moves in with her sister Stella and husband Stanley.
