Demi Lovato visited ABC’s Good Morning America earlier today to promote her new album “Unbroken”, which hits stores tomorrow, September 20th. The 19-year old pop singer first did an interview with Robin Roberts, where she talked about the inspiration behind the new album, the message of the first single, her fan base and her past issues, among other things. Demi then took the stage at the show’s Times Square studios to treat viewers with an amazing rendition of her hit “Skyscraper”. Flawless as usual. I wish Demi the best with her album release tomorrow. I’m sure it’ll do great but good luck nonetheless.

Jay-Z is swimming in money, he is the richest rapper

Jay-Z has again been crowned the richest rapper, according to an annual top of Forbes magazine.
37 million dollars, this is how much Jay-Z won the last 12 months. No one can say that Jay-Z is not good at business.
The rapper is a shareholder of New Jersey Nets basketball club, has a contract with Live Nation, has released a clothing collection and, most important, he’s making handsome profit with his on label, Roc Nation. But Jay-Z’s earnings do not stop there. The artist will release on August 12th a new album, ‘Watch the Throne’.
Experts expect the disc to sell over 500 million copies and get on top of the Billboard 200.
# 2 richest rappers this year is by P Diddy, with 35 million dollars. He is followed by Kanye West as 3rd. 4th place is divided between Lil Wayne and Birdman, each with $ 15 million, while Eminem, Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg ranked as 6th with 14 million dollars.
In the past five years, Jay-Z was crowned four times as ‘The King of Money in Hip-Hop ‘.

Mayor renames street ‘Justin Bieber Way’

An 11-year-old mayor has changed the name of one her town’s streets to “Justin Bieber Way”. Caroline Gonzalez won a competition to be “Mayor For One Day” in Forney, Texas. Officially changing the name of the street was Gonzalez’s first task. “I like his music and I like him,” she said. “So I thought, why not have a street in my hometown named after my favourite singer?”

No Suspects on Gavin DeGraw Attack

According to a source, the NYPD suspect that the individuals who attacked Gavin DeGraw in New York City earlier this week had no idea that he was famous. The source adds that cops think that it was a random act of violence and the singer had just been at the wrong place at the wrong time. What I think is random is for a group of people to brutally beat a man at they don’t know. But hey, crazier things have happened in New York. Either way, I hope whoever’s responsible would be brought to justice soon. As for Gavin, I wish him a speedy and full recovery.

Lady Gaga takes the anti-hair loss pills

Lady Gaga is undergoing treatment with anti-baldness drug Rogaine, hoping that she will not lose all her hair affected by frequent changes of look.
A source told The Sun newspaper that the singer has seriously damaged hair because of the substances it was ‘tortured’ with:
`Over the years, Lady Gaga has submitted her hair to extremely high stress levels. He poured so many chemicals on her head, that the hair is damaged irreparably. She hopes that using Rogaine, will fix a bit of the bad she’s done’.
Her concerns for her hair began since the Monster Ball Tour, when she observed whole clumps of hair on the brush, in hand and on clothes after she tried to arrange her hair.
Moreover, eccentric Gaga recently spoke about the adverse effects of hair dyeing, recognizing that she must take serious measures:
`I had to make a chemical haircut because my blond hair began to fall out, ‘said Lady Gaga herself.

At this concert you better not mess with anyone

Nothing is more annoying when you go to a concert than to come across some annoying troublemaker who complains because you’re singing or even that you have touched or pulled gently at them. That’s the idea of concerts, people singing, dancing and feeling good, and Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters is probably the only singer in history to react this way towards one of the fans came to one of his concerts. Dave surprised the guy who was trying to provoke a fight and started to scold him from the stage while the entire audience was applauding. Finally the troublemaker fan was kicked out of the location while everyone applauded.

Lady GaGa probably suffered a little shock this morning when instead of being reminded that she’s the best in the world at everything, she learned with stupor that there is a chapter where she was outdated. Rihanna became officially the female artist with most fans on Facebook and exceeded Lady GaGa with nearly 20,000 fans. GaGa probably choked on her coffee when she read the numbers this morning and discovered that although she was the first star to exceed the 10 million fans on Facebook, Riri exceeded her and reached a record number of 40,564,905 fans while she was left with “only” 40,543,536. Let’s see for how long she will enjoy the glory recently obtained. We believe that the little monsters will ally and will do everything possible to bring the Monster Mother to the first place.

Britney Spears shows us that she has a voice

Britney Spears has been accused several times that she uses a lot of autotune in her songs and her live voice at a concert would sound much worse than what you actually hear. There were even cases when in her voice recordings her voice sounds just like in the mixer at the concert and everyone accused her of not actually doing live shows. Now we already know that Britney’s Femme Fatale tour is only 50% live and the rest is playback, but what does her voice sounds like on her hit “Hold It Against Me” without computer assistance. Well, we can say the song sounds almost identical to the original, and Britney’s voice sounds pretty good without autotune, so we can only wonder why she uses so many special effects even when she really has a voice. And we wonder when she will be able to do a 100% live show.

The first single extracted from this new album is named “Castles Made of Sand” , produced by DJ Frank E. The rapper Jamie Drastik and Pitbull also contributed at creating this song.

Beyonce took the stage for the second time on American Idol to debut her new single called “1 + 1”. The track is a torchy ballad. At this point in the show, I was ready to turn off my TV because I didn’t think it could get better after she took the stage with this song. Beyonce’s vocals were on fire and her performance was moving and powerful. She sang it with all her heart. If my jaw was hanging after Lady Gaga, Beyonce made it go right onto the floor. Who knew she had some soul in her? This performance was A+.

Damon Albarn says that he�s been recording a new Gorillaz album on his iPad while the virtual techno hip hop band is on tour. When talking about the follow-up to �Plastic Beach�, Damon said �I’ve made it on an iPad � I hope I’ll be making the first record on an iPad. I fell in love with my iPad as soon as I got it, so I’ve made a completely different kind of record.� He also says that he plans to release the album before Christmas. That�s only a few weeks away! I can�t wait to hear what he�s got in store for us. I wonder if an iPad music app will be the new Pro Tools.

Martin Scorsese Tackles History of Music

Martin Scorsese, Terence Winter and Mick Jagger are rumored to be teaming up with HBO once again for a period drama series project called �History of Music�. The series is being dubbed a rock and roll epic which follows two friends through 40 years in the music business. The project is based on the idea of the Rolling Stones lead singer, which originated as a feature. It was first pitched at Disney then at Paramount where it was set up 3 years ago with Martin set to direct. Now, HBO wants to make a deal with Paramount to develop the pilot based on the idea. While nothing is set in stone yet, it does sound promising.

Ice-T was arrested for driving without a license

The New York police declared that they have arrested the actor / rapper Ice-T under the accusation of driving while his license was suspended. According to CBS News, the 52 years old star was driving a 209 Cadillac, and he was stopped by the police for not wearing a seatbelt. The law enforcements checked Ice-T through station and found out that his license was suspended. The rapper on the other hand, wrote on Twitter that this story is not true, and that he has a valid drivers license, registered in New Jersey.
