Actor Mark Wahlberg said a movie version of hit show Entourage is the ‘goal’. The 40-year-old star is an executive producer on the show and spoke to Extra on the 2011 Emmys red carpet about the possibility of a movie version. He said: “Yeah, for sure. You saw the way it ended. After the credits, Jeremy Piven’s character is in Italy with his wife and he gets a big phone call. “I think that’s obviously going to cause a lot of tension within his relationship. And the guys are going to have to go back to where it started. We’ve been talking about the movie non-stop. That’s the goal.”

Actress Zoe Saldana said she almost had a mental breakdown after filming Avatar. The 33-year-old star appeared in the 2009 movie by James Cameron and said it was a difficult film to get over. Speaking to Latina magazine, she said: “The year after Avatar was just emotionally overwhelming. I was traveling all over the world, waking up in different time zones. “Your body gets exhausted, and by the end of the year I just collapsed.” She will next be seen starring in the flick Colombiana and said she was still suffering when she filmed that movie. Saldana added: “I was in Paris training for Colombiana, sitting in my hotel room, and I couldn’t stop crying. I couldn’t stay awake. I must have slept for an entire month. “It took me the rest of the year, even as I was working and shooting Colombiana, to pick myself up. Thank God my family was there.”

Actress Mila Kunis shot down a reporter’s question in Russian while at a press junket in Moscow. Kunis, 27, was at the press conference with her co-star Justin Timberlake as they promoted their new movie Friends With Benefits. According to E!, one reporter asked Timberlake in Russian why he is now focusing on movies and his acting career rather than his music. Kunis, who was born in the Ukraine, then replied to the journalist in Russian and said: “Why movies? Why not? What kind of question is that? Why are you here?” Timberlake, 30, looked surprised at his co-star’s outburst and he laughed as he said he didn’t like it than he was being left out of the conversation.

Mark Wahlberg has vowed to turn Entourage into a movie, even if he has to pay for it himself. The 40-year-old actor, who is an executive producer on the HBO series, said that he is focused on finding a way to turn it into a feature film. He told Us Magazine, “I said if I had to finance it myself, I would do it. I was looking at [a promo clip from HBO] and it looks like a movie to me… It’s the f**king greatest thing I’ve ever seen. “I certainly hope this has a chance to become a feature film. People are always complaining that the episodes are too short.” The show’s eighth and final season premieres July 24.

Actress Ashley Judd makes life-changing discoveries on TV ancestry show

Hollywood actress Ashley Judd burst into tears when she found out that she is a descendant of one of the English colonists who arrived in the US on the Mayflower ship in the 1620s. The Double Jeopardy star cried as she made some “absolutely life-changing” discoveries in the latest episode of the US version of Who Do You Think You Are? A self-confessed advocate for human rights and social justice, the California-born actress was astonished to discover that she is related to one of the religious separatists who escaped persecution in England to start a new life in the US – and found New England. The Double Jeopardy star’s 10 times great-grandfather was William Brewster, a “gentleman” from Scrooby, Nottingham, who arrived in the US in 1620 on the famous Mayflower ship. “I have learned something that I think I can genuinely characterise as life-changing,” she said. “My people came over on the Mayflower. The Mayflower!” The ship is famous in American history as it brought over the first settlers of what would become New England. Most of the passengers were dissenters of the relatively new Church of England – called Pilgrims – and came to the US for religious freedom. Talking about the discoveries she made during the programme, the Where The Heart Is star said: “Religious tolerance is incredibly important to me… Each of these snippets of the story are absolutely life-changing.”

Actress Sigourney Weaver said she would love to get the chance to play her Alien character Ellen Ripley again one day. It’s been 32 years since the actress first took on the role of Ripley in the sci-fi flick. Speaking about playing the role again, she said to Moviefone: “I would have liked to do one last story where we go back to the planet, where Ripley’s history is resolved.” However she’s not sure whether or not there is room in the movie industry for an older female action here. She said: “I doubt it just because the way the industry is. While I can’t speak for them, I think for Fox, once you’re 60, you’re not going to be starring in an action movie. I think it’s too bad that that’s the case.”

Romantic comedy Bridesmaids has been named the highest-grossing R-rated female comedy in film history. According to US website Gossip Cop, the film has so far earned a total of $152.9million, putting it ahead of the previous title holder Sex and the City. Bridesmaids stars Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph, and tells the story of a struggling maid of honour’s attempts to support her best friend before her wedding. Meanwhile, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has become the eighth film ever to pass the $1billion mark worldwide.

Shia LaBeouf has complained that the harnesses he wore for action scenes in Transformers wrought havoc on his tender man parts. The cast had to wire-work for the third instalment of the franchise Dark Of The Moon. The franchise’s 25-year-old leading man likened the pain on his private parts to being strung from the roof by a shoelace. He told MTV News, "Yeah, I don’t like the wires. Really, you can ask any man, like if I were to ask you, sir," Labeouf said, talking to a nearby camera man, "would you like me to take my shoelace off, tie it around your nuts, and then hang it from a chandelier on the ceiling? "And then while you’re up there hanging from your testicles, I need you to scream, ‘Optimus!’ which makes the testicle condense inside of the shoelace vice. Would you enjoy that, sir?" And his co-star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley shared his pain. "I don’t think I was originally supposed to go up in the harness. I was on set watching my stunt double do her thing – she was sliding down this 100ft [mobile set] that was at a 40-degree angle on what was basically a skateboard, headfirst. "All of the sudden Michael [Bay] says, ‘OK, get Rosie in the harness!’ They thrust this man’s harness at me, which is placed to be in all the wrong places for a woman’s body and is excruciatingly painful for three hours," she added. "All the things cut into the wrong places, put pressure on the wrong bits. Whatever it does to a man, it also does to a woman."

Tough-guy actor Ray Winstone is set to appear in the new BBC adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations. The British star will be taking on the role of Magwitch in the new three-part drama, which will be shown during the BBC Christmas schedule. Douglas Booth will be playing the lead role of Pip in the adaptation, which will mark the bicentenary of Dickens’ birth. Speaking about the new role, Winstone said: "Great Expectations is my favourite novel and I’m thrilled to be playing Magwitch. "I’ve wanted to play him for ages. Actor Al Pacino has joined the cast of the new mob movie Gotti: Three Generations. The legendary actor, famous for roles in films such as The Godfather trilogy and Scarface, will be taking on the role of Gotti associate Neil Dellacroce in the new film, according to Variety. John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Joe Pesci and Lindsay Lohan have already signed up to star in the new flick and Pacino’s addition to the cast was announced on May 10 by Fiore Films at Cannes. Marc Fiore, the CEO of Fiore Films, is the executive producer and producer of the new film. He said: "Al Pacino is one of the finest actors of all time, and will bring an unsurpassed level of reality and excitement to the film. "We are very pleased to have Al join the extraordinary team that we are assembling to make this movie."

Chris Evans swaps skinny for super buff in new Captain America movie

Actor Chris Evans goes from scrawny to super-buff in the new trailer for Captain America. The 29-year-old film star flaunts his bulging muscles after morphing into the Marvel Comics superhero. Evans, who used to date actress Jessica Biel, screws up his face in pain as he is wired up and placed in the body-changing capsule. And everyone is left open-mouthed as he emerges with a huge physique. Evans, who has starred in films such as Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four, plays a character called Steve Rogers who is deemed too unfit to enlist in the US army. Instead he volunteers for Project Rebirth — a secret military operation — which sees him transformed into a super soldier dubbed Captain America. Captain America: The First Avenger, which also stars Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving and Hayley Atwell, is due to be released in July.

A new documentary chronicling the story of former Hole band member Patty Schemel recently premiered at SXSW. On top of focusing on the drummer�s drug addiction and the deaths of Kurt Cobain and Hole bassist Kristen Pfaff, it also features never before seen footage of the late Nirvana singer performing an unreleased song with wife Courtney Love. The documentary reportedly features home footage of the couple performing the track called �Stinking of You�. Woody Allen’s new movie Midnight in Paris is set to open the Cannes Film Festival later this year. The romantic comedy will be shown for the first time in the Lumiere theatre on May 11 in front of the jury, which Robert De Niro is presiding over. According to Deadline, the festival’s director Thierry Fremaux said: “Midnight in Paris is a wonderful love letter to Paris. “It’s a film in which Woody Allen takes a deeper look at the issues raised in his last films: our relationship with history, pleasure and life. His 41st feature reveals once again his inspiration.” The film was shot in Paris last year and the cast includes Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams and Marion Cotillard.
