Bradley Cooper has appeared on the cover of GQ Australia. In the accompanying feature, the Hangover: Part II star talked about his ‘bromance’ with his new best mate, Robert De Niro. Bradley, 36, who stars with De Niro in the sci-fi movie Limitless, said, "I really care for him. He’s a friend of mine. I would be there for him if he needed me and he’s been wonderful. "I just love him. He’s the greatest." Bradley also told the mag that from Bob, "I learnt you can be in this business for 40 years and still have the same kind of enthusiasm and excitement that I have now. "I learnt that he is what you’d hope he is – a great actor. "He also taught me how to behave in this business, the right way to go about it."

Martin Scorsese has signed up to direct The Wolf of Wall Street that will star Leonardo DiCaprio. The movie was first set up by Warner Bros almost four years ago with both Scorsese and DiCaprio on board however the director later departed from the film. According to Variety, he has now signed up to direct the movie once again. The movie is an adaptation of the memoirs of Jordan Belfort and it is set to be written by Terence Winter, who has worked on The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire. The film will follow Belfort’s rise and fall on Wall Street and it will also look at his hard-partying lifestyle and problematic personal life.

Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz’s new film The Green Hornet lived up to its hype – landing the number one spot at the weekend box office in the US. The flick managed to pull in around $34 million in its opening weekend. Rogen plays a publisher who fights crime at night as masked superhero The Green Hornet in the movie. In second spot was Vince Vaughn’s new movie, The Dilemma, which raked in $17.4 million. Western True Grit still managed to stay in the top five, grossing another $11.1 million. The film has already made an estimated $126.4 million. Colin Firth’s highly-anticipated The King’s Speech came in fourth place, while Black Swan landed the fifth spot.

Michael Douglas has told how he is “still trying to understand” all the financial information featured in his movie Wall Street 2. The actor, who reprised his role as Gordon Gekko for the film, said: “I grew up on the east coast and I knew people in the financial world. “But when it came to the first movie and the latest one, I was a babe in the woods really. I am still trying to understand this movie.” The star, who is battling cancer, was speaking at a media event in New York City.

Twilight star Kristen Stewart has ‘grown up’ since she made ‘Welcome To The Rileys’, says the director. The actress attended the New York premiere of the new flick yesterday, nine months after it premiered in Utah during the Sundance Film Festival. While at Sundance, Kristen told MTV News that she thought of the role as the most personal of her career to date, which changed her in a certain way. And director Jake Scott is in agreement, as he has noticed a change in the 20-year-old since he worked with her in 2008 on the movie. He said: “She’s grown up, she’s a woman now. “It was an act of courage on her part, especially when you consider she was just 18.”

Twilight star Peter Facinelli has revealed that he is not looking forward to becoming a grandfather in new movie Breaking Dawn. The 36-year-old’s character, Dr Carlisle Cullen, is set to become a grandpa in the fourth movie in the hit vampire series, when his adopted son Edward and his wife Bella have a daughter, Renesmee. Asked if he is looking forward to being a granddad, the Nurse Jackie star told OK! Magazine: “No. No one looks forward to being a grandfather.” According to the magazine, Facinelli’s wife, 90210 actress Jennie Garth, recently said that he would make a “foxy grandpa”, but the New York-born actor said he wasn’t so sure. He said: “A foxy grandpa. Well, I think I wouldn’t have a lot of competition. There’s not a lot of 23-year-old grandfathers. My character’s supposed to be 23.”

Aaron Sorkin turned to Harvard alumnus Natalie Portman to gain insight into the exclusive world of the Ivy League college for his new film The Social Network. The actress was a student there from 1999-03 and was reportedly keen to dish on life at the university, Entertainment Weekly reports. “Natalie Portman got in touch with me when she heard that I was doing this to say, ‘Listen come over for dinner and I’ll tell you some stories’,” said Sorkin, the creator of the West Wing. “I would’ve come over for dinner under any circumstances. But that was really helpful.” The Social Network chronicles Mark Zuckerberg’s creation of Facebook while an undergrad and stars Jessie Eisenberg and Justin Timberlake.

Michael Douglas’ recent health problems will not affect the opening of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.

Twentieth Century Fox have confirmed that the movie, in which Douglas stars, will open on September 24 as planned.

It was recently announced that Douglas, 65, has a tumour in his throat and will need to have eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy.

Fox added that Douglas, who reprises his role as ruthless financier Gordon Gekko in the movie, will also be promoting the movie as was planned.

The actor’s spokesman recently said that Douglas was ‘very optimistic’ that he will make a full recovery from this.

The new movie follows Douglas’s character Gekko after his release from prison.

Eclipse star Jackson Rathbone said his Kung Fu training for a previous movie helped him with his stunts in the new flick.

Rathbone, 25, plays the role of vampire Jasper Cullen in the popular film franchise and admitted he trained in Kung Fu for two months for his previous movie Airbender, which helped him film Eclipse.

He said to J-14 magazine: “I did Airbender before Eclipse. That was really handy because by the time we filmed Eclipse, I had lots of Kung Fu training behind me.

“I was able to keep going with movie stunts that I had already been exposed to. I had done a lot of movie stunts so it was very serendipitous.”

The 55-year-old actor is taking on the role of Mr Big in the latest film adaptation of the popular US show.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the Sex and the City 2 premiere in New York, he said: “Everybody already wants Sex and the City three, four, and five…

“You know, if I’m in a wheelchair and they want Mr Big, I’ll be there!”

Fresh from Sherwood Forest, Russell Crowe has announced he is interested in ‘having a go’ at a Bollywood film.

Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival showing of his new movie Robin Hood, Crowe revealed his professional ambition, saying he found the idea of making a film in India appealing.

“I don’t mean a typical Hollywood film that happens to be set in India but a Bollywood film,” the actor clarified.

“The script would have to be right and I’d have to understand completely what I was doing. But I fancy having a go.”

The Academy Award-winner also told The Daily Mail: “I can do my own singing and I can dance a little bit,."

But this film foray might not be in the coutnry’s native tongue as when asked if he spoke Hindi, Crowe admitted: "No, mate."

Leonardo Di Caprio’s Shutter Island remained steady at the top of the US Box Office at the weekend.

Variety reports the Martin Scorsese-directed movie brought an estimated gross of $22.2 million at 3003 engagements.

Shutter Island tells the story of a 1954 trainee US marshal who investigates the disappearance of a patient from Boston’s Shutter Island Ashecliffe Hospital.

Things turn sinister when Di Caprio’s marshal is refused hospital records and a hurricane cuts off communication to the mainland.

Warner Bros’s Cop Out, starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan, and Overture’s The Crazies raked in an estimated $18.6 million and $16.5 million, respectively.

Avatar, the record-breaking Twentieth Century-Fox 3-D blockbuster brought in $14 million, while Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, also by Fox, took $9.8 million.

Director Steven Spielberg is set to produce a TV series documenting the rebuilding of the World Trade Center in New York.

The documentary will be shown next year and will document the engineering and building of a skyscraper that is being constructed on the site where the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers once stood.

Spielberg’s documentary will also include a tribute to the people who died in the attacks on September 11 2001.

Michael Bloomberg, the mayor of New York, said the documentary will tell ‘a compelling story of remembrance and renewal’.
