A source told EW “Mariah and Simon [Cowell] are great friends, and now [that] she has had her babies, it’s very possible that she will be involved [in] some way in the later stages of the show. She has always said she wanted to work with the show, so it’s something they will certainly be discussing ideas for soon.”

This is what Nick Cannon had to say: “In order for my wife and I to have our life, we need to be up front and I need to be able to share things with you and be real. I didn’t even tell my wife I was gonna do this. I’m probably gonna get yelled at for not getting permission … We are having twins!” Yet another rumor put to rest. How kind of Nick Cannon to do this for all of us! Hopefully Mariah Carey will be just as kind when she hears about it too.

George Clooney pulled a Mariah at the New York Film Critics Circle awards.

“I’m like Mariah Carey f–ked up right now!” he said.

Carey last week swooned before the audience at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, temporarily lost for words. When she did speak, she was tipsy, saying: “I’m like … Yeah.”

Clooney also issued an expletive when he spoke jokingly of Meryl Streep as tough competition.

He said director Wes Anderson’s response was: “F–k her!”

Clooney was awarded two Best Actor awards for Up In The Air and Fantastic Mr. Fox. He was accompanied to the glittering event by the lovely Elisabetta Canalis.

Christine Lahti, presenting Clooney with an award, asked him if he’d ever Googled himself. With ever sparkling wit, he replied: “I Google myself every afternoon.”

The 39-year old singer was there to talk about her new film Precious. The movie actually took in a respectable $1.8 million in box office sales despite running in just 18 theaters throughout the United States. Precious is based on a novel by Sapphire called Push. The film takes place in Harlem and shows the life of a disadvantaged teen that has struggled through life up to that point. Mariah also announced that she will be performing live at New Yorks Madison Square Garden for a special New Years Eve performance.

It sounds like a lot of money for a little bottle of fragrance. I doubt if anyones going to be buying this by the truck loads. Heres yet another thing that Mariahs going to be a failure at doing. She should really just stick to her music career and get it back to the greatness that it was.

Mariah Carey has revealed how she tried to secretly remove a moustache that had been painted on her face for a new movie – but was caught out by the film’s director.

The singer plays a dowdy social worker in new flick, Precious, and was forced to undergo a transformation to make her look as unattractive as possible, which included having facial hair painted onto her face.

When Carey caught a glimpse of herself in a mirror, she attempted to cover up the moustache with make-up.

The usually glamorous star said: “I was like, ‘This is so ugly man.’

“It was a mission to make me look as homely as possible.

“[So] I tried to sneak a little blush on.”

She added: “I had no make-up underneath my eyes and the overhead lighting was not my friend.”

But she said she was caught out by director, Lee Daniels, who forced her to wipe off the make-up.

The film is based on the novel, Push by Sapphire, and charts the life of a teenage mother who struggles to escape her abusive home life.

Is this just some glitch on Amazons website or is it because the reception to the divas single Obsessed was so lukewarm? Im already half-expecting Mariah to go on her Twitter account and talk about it. But then again, I wouldnt be surprised if her release date did get pushed back. If her single is anything to go by, that album is way below mediocre and isnt even going to break the top 10 of the album charts.

    In the video, the 39-year-old diva dresses a lot like Eminem. The singer seems to be responding to Slim Shadys unflattering references to her and her husband Nick Cannon from Eminems track Bagpipes From Baghdad.
    In the song Obsessed, Mariah reportedly tells Eminem: Why are you so obsessed with me/ Boy, I wanna know/ Lying that youre sexing me/ When everybody knows/ Its clear that youre upset with me.Youre delusional/ Boy, youre losing your mind.
    The video was directed by Brett Ratner, who originally cast Andy Samberg for the role of the man. But because its presumably anti-Eminem, he backed out and Mariah filled in for the role of the man.

    Nick Cannon, Mariah Careys husband, recently said he is not good enough to appear on one of his wifes records: “I am not worthy of being on a Mariah Carey record. Please, we’re going to try to keep her career soaring. I can’t even step into the studio with that woman. She is incredible.” Nick Cannon doesnt really set the bar too high for himself, does he?
