Jennifer Aniston has told how she used to be an awful waitress. The 42-year-old Horrible Bosses actress waited tables in New York and Los Angeles before hitting the big time with Friends, but said that her skills left a lot to be desired. "I waited a lot of tables, and I wasn’t very good at that," she told Marie Claire. "I dropped more than one Alpine burger in customers’ laps, and you just do not want all of that Swiss cheese and mushrooms in your pants. I wasn’t a good waitress, but I was told that I was very nice and charming, so people liked me anyway." But she said that her luck improved when she decided to move to LA. "I was struggling a little in New York, working as a waitress at Jackson Hole [diner], but not really getting any consistent acting work," she said. "Then I moved out here to Los Angeles, and I started getting pilots and working pretty regularly. I still didn’t make any decent money until I got on Friends."

Episodes star Matt LeBlanc said he was “sceptical” about playing himself in the show. LeBlanc, 43, plays a fictional version of himself as a TV star looking for the right role to make his comeback. The actor was asked if the show was written before he signed up. According to Popeater, he said: “No, David [Crane] and Jeffrey [Klarik] had an idea and fleshed out a pitch. They called me, told me they had an idea, I listened and I was intrigued with it. “My only scepticism was in playing myself. I didn’t know what they meant. I didn’t mind being the brunt of the joke – and anyway, that’s just in the beginning.”

Actress Jennifer Aniston has admitted she hated her famous ‘Rachel’ hairstyle on US sitcom Friends. Aniston’s classic hairstyle that she had while she played Rachel Green on the show was copied by fans around the world making it one of the biggest hairdos in the 1990s. However Aniston, 41, said she didn’t like the hairdo, which was created by stylist Chris McMillan in 1994. Speaking to the US magazine Allure, she said: “I love Chris but he’s the bane of my existence because he started that damn Rachel, which was not my best look. “How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen.”

Actor Matt LeBlanc has revealed that he earned $100m starring in US TV show Friends. The 43-year-old Episodes star, who played Joey Tribbiani in the hit comedy series, said that each of his co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, and David Schwimmer had all made a similar figure. According to an interview in News Review, the actors were earning $100,000 an episode by the beginning of the third series. LeBlanc said: “People often ask me, ‘Are you still friends?’ If you do a show for 10 years and make $100 million, you’re all going to be friends.” Asked if he was worth the money he was paid, he added: “It’s irrelevant. We were in a position to get the money. If you’re in a position to get the money and you don’t, then you’re stupid.”

Former Friends star Matthew Perry will star, co-write and executive produce a yet to be titled new TV comedy.

Perry will play the manager of a second rate sports arena who starts to evaluate his life as he approaches his 40th birthday.

Perry, who recently appeared in the feature film 17 Again alongside Zac Efron, turned 40 in August.

Also involved in the project is Rules of Engagement co-executive producers Alex Barnow and Mark Firek.

Other Friends stars to act in recent US TV shows include Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc.

Friends star Lisa Kudrow has reunited with Courteney Cox for an episode of her online comedy series Web Therapy.

Kudrow, 45, plays Dr Fiona Wallice in the series about a dubious therapist with no formal training who offers advice in three-minute time slots over the net.

Kudrow said: “She’s the worst, she’s really self-serving, really horrible.

“For the second season, we have Courteney Cox, she’s hilarious.

“We also have Alan Cumming, who is fantastic, and Steven Weber. They emailed me and said they liked my web series. I said, ‘Great – be on it.’”

The first series of Kudrow’s made-for-the-internet shows received a Webby Award – the internet version of an Emmy or Oscar.

Cox will appear with Kudrow in the July 6 webisode as a psychic who used to get visions through her dreams.

When the visions no longer come to her, she seeks out Kudrow who dispenses her advice via webcam.

It is the first time they have appeared together since Friends ended in 2004.

Jennifer Aniston has reportedly made friends with Sir Paul McCartney and his girlfriend Nancy Shevell.

Sir Paul, 66, and girlfriend Nancy, 47, were recently at a bash at Tom Hanks’ home in Los Angeles when they met the 40-year-old Friends actress.

A source said: “Jennifer didn’t know Paul or Nancy particularly well before the party but the three of them really got on.”

The source added: “Jennifer then invited them round to her place the next afternoon.

“She’s a Beatles fan and apparently both Paul and Nancy liked her old show Friends, so they had plenty to chat about.”

Jennifer Aniston said she wants a Friends reunion to happen before the cast gets too old.

The 40-year-old actress played Rachel Green in the US sitcom, which last aired in 2004. Rumours about a reunion have existed since the show’s finale five years ago and Aniston said fans are always keen to know if a reunion is planned.

She told MTV News: “They do want to know that all the time.” On a possible reunion, Aniston said: “I don’t think so, and if they do, they should hurry up.”

She added: “Well, it’s been off the air, but you also don’t want it to be that reunion show or movie that you see – like when the Brady Bunch had a reunion and they were old.”

Troubled actor Owen Wilson is “doing really well” following his suicide attempt, according to his best friend Ben Stiller. Wilson was hospitalized in August after making an attempt on his life at his Santa Monica, California home. What need all need to do is to exercise restraint on how we look at the attempted suicide by Owen Wilson. We all need to behave like we are close friends of Owen and then we will all act responsibly in the way we look at his problems and our comments would be more in trying to help him get out of his problems, forget his sorrows and lead a happy life like we all do and want to do. The actor tells talk show host Ellen DeGeneres – in a program due to air on Friday – “He’s doing really well. I sort of like to protect his privacy, ’cause I feel like it’s his own thing. But he’s a really good friend of mine. He’s an incredible guy and I wish him as everybody does all the best.”

Well, OHW’s over here, but not in Britain where they liked that crap like T-Rex and Thin Lizzy and Mott the Hoople and Hanoi Rocks (Hanoi Rocks is one of Lep’s biggest influences and they are soooo bad. I listened to the Lep a lot back in the 80s– pyromania and hysteria days– and found this out in some metal edge rag or something and bought a Hanoi Rocks *cassette* and it was sooo freaking’ bad). The CBS Late Show host, 60, will make his first-ever appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Sept. 10 to be shot in New York’s Madison Square Garden, Winfrey’s Harpo Productions has announced,

The nationally syndicated show, which will also do a special 9/11 episode, will air live in some markets and be rebroadcast in others, the Associated Press reports.

After a purported rift between the two, Winfrey, 53, threw down the olive branch and agreed to appear on Letterman’s show on Dec. 1, 2005 ? the same night that the Broadway musical The Color Purple, which Winfrey helped produce, opened a block from Letterman’s studio.

The appearance marked her first guest spot on his CBS show, though she twice appeared on his NBC show before he switched networks in 1993.

The source of the longtime disagreement has never been clear. Certainly, Letterman used to poke fun at Winfrey’s fluctuating shape and then would joke about her refusal to appear on his show.

When Letterman hosted the 1995 Oscars (in a stint that was roundly panned by critics ? and, eventually, even by Letterman himself) he used her name for a laugh-less comedic routine that juxtaposed her name with Uma Thurman’s, to say, “Uma, Oprah.” (Both Thurman and Winfrey sat in the Oscar show audience that night, stone-faced.)

In 2003, as Letterman was publicly lobbying to convince Winfrey to appear on his show, she told Time magazine that she would feel “completely uncomfortable” allowing herself to be a target for Letterman’s jibes. She then turned the tables on him and asked that he appear on her show. Letterman refused.

“Here’s what would happen: I would go on the Oprah show, and I would break down and sob like a little girl,” he said. “I don’t want to have that happen.”

When Winfrey finally did appear on the Letterman show in 2005, he called her “the most beloved woman in America ? despite the fact she gave us Dr. Phil.”

She, meanwhile, told her wisecracking host, “I want you to know, it’s really over, whatever you thought was happening.”

Replied Letterman: “Are you sure it’s over?”
