Beyonce Sells Out in Seconds

Beyonce has recently announced that she will be performing “4 Intimate Nights with Beyonce”, four evenings where the 29-year old R&B singer will perform the entire collection of her latest album “4”. Upon the availability of tickets, the first show in Beyonce’s set of concerts at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom sold out in a matter of seconds – 22 seconds to be exact. Tickets for the other three nights went on sale after the first show officially sold out, and all three nights have also sold out since. Beyonce has always put on a great show and I’m sure that those 4 nights are bound to be unforgettable shows. Whoever got tickets is lucky!

At this concert you better not mess with anyone

Nothing is more annoying when you go to a concert than to come across some annoying troublemaker who complains because you’re singing or even that you have touched or pulled gently at them. That’s the idea of concerts, people singing, dancing and feeling good, and Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters is probably the only singer in history to react this way towards one of the fans came to one of his concerts. Dave surprised the guy who was trying to provoke a fight and started to scold him from the stage while the entire audience was applauding. Finally the troublemaker fan was kicked out of the location while everyone applauded.

Darren Criss Schedules Show in New York

Singer/actor Darren Criss has announced that he will be performing solo show at Irving Plaza in New York on Wednesday, June 15, the night before the rest of the “Glee” cast starts to wrap up their Northern American tour in New Jersey/New York. Tickets go on sale tomorrow and you will want to get your hands on them quick. Darren is one of the best performers out there and it will be a great experience to see him own the stage in a solo show. I wonder why he only did it for New York. He should have done it for every stop of the “Glee” tour.

Nicki Minaj Plans Tour

Nicki Minaj recently revealed that once she is done with her summer tour alongside Britney Spears, she will be doing her own, called the Pink Friday tour in 2012. The rapper said “Next year, I’ll be headlining my own tour so this is my time to be a student and to learn and to absorb all of this information and then take that knowledge and create an amazing ‘Pink Friday’ tour at the top of 2012.” I think it’s smart of her to want to give herself a practice run and learn the ropes. And who better to learn from than the pop princess?

Diddy’s after-parties are not cheap

The rapper is currently touring with his Diddy-Dirty Money project and their tour will be taking them to New York on the 22nd of April. However, it seems that Diddy is being a bit up-tight and too demanding with regards to hosting an after-party. Diddy is asking for a fee of $45, 000 to host his own after-party, twenty five of those being his own personal fee in addition to a few other conditions. This is what one nightlife promoter had to say about Diddy’s conditions: “It’s unlikely that a club in New York would pay that amount. For that amount of money, Vegas makes sense. That’s normal for Vegas. New York doesn’t work like that.” So it’s back to the mansion for Diddy… or perhaps the hotel? That must bring back some interesting party memories… fiery times those were.

After Enrique Iglesias decided that touring with Britney Spears might not be the best decision for his career, especially given the ticket prices that were being asked, Britney Spears has found someone else to maybe bring on tour with her: Nicki Minaj. The latter had this to say about the possibility of touring with her pop colleague: “We�re talking. I would love to, but I don�t know yet. I can neither confirm or deny the rumors!” Well Nicki Minaj is probably going to use this one to her advantage in her ongoing conflict with Lil� Kim. After all, it�s not every day you get the chance to say that you might just tour with Britney Spears.

Adele Switches Venues

If there were any doubts left in your body about how captivating Adele is, the singer�s upcoming New York, Seattle and LA concerts, part of her North American tour, have sold out so quickly that she has been forced to move the performances to bigger venues or add additional dates in order to accommodate more fans. According to the Seattle announcement, �Adele has moved to The Paramount due to overwhelming demand. A limited amount of additional tickets will go up for sale on Saturday, February 26th at 10:00AM at www.tickets.com and at The Paramount box office.� All tickets purchased for the original venue will be honored. Adele has also moved her LA show to the Palladium and added another show for New York.

Lil Wayne Going on Tour with Nicki Minaj

Lil Wayne recently announced that he�s planning his first post prison US tour. The rapper will hit up 24 cities across North America alongside co-headliner Nicki Minaj. The I Am Music II tour will also feature the likes of Rick Ross, Travis Barker and Mix Master Mike. The tour will kick off with a concert on March 18^th in Buffalo, New York and will be making stops in Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington DC, Atlanta, St. Louis, New Orleans, Houston, Sacramento, and other cities, and will wrap up on April 29 in Vancouver. This is bound to be an awesome show. Who�s planning on catching it?

Rolling Stones to Tour

While promoting his new autobiography, Keith Richards has revealed that his band, the Rolling Stones, will be recording new music within the coming months and plan to go on tour next year. The rock star said �There are gems in the vault, but more interesting to me is that everybody’s ready to go out there again. Who said it should stop and who said when? That’s what we want to find out. We’ll know when it really comes to an end, with a crashing halt. After these many years working together, we have a lot of unfinished stuff to work on that we had to leave off the last album. And knowing Mick, as I do, he’s a very prolific writer. And I have ideas, and we’ll put them together in December or January, something like that � We’re looking forward to working.� I�m so excited for this!

Jazon Mraz�s new album �Life is Good� is about to hit stores on October 5. The singer and his band announced that they will release previews of songs until the release date. A statement was posted at their official website, saying �We’re excited to announce LIFE IS GOOD, a live digital EP available Tuesday, October 5th! The five-song EP will feature four new songs, as well as a live version of �Coyotes.� Jason and his band recorded the EP on the first three dates of his current fall tour in Bangor, ME; Utica, NY; and at the Life Is Good Festival in Canton, MA.�

Free MIA Concert Still Happening

Fans of MIA have been patiently waiting for her to get her butt back to New York after her gig at the HARD festival went awry. The Sri Lankan rapper had promised that the next time she was in town she would put on a free concert for all her fans but so far, nothing has been planned yet. However, there are some murmurs going around that she will be putting on a ticketed show towards the end of the month but a source from MIA�s camp says that it�s still in the works. According to the insider, �They are working on details, place, and date, so I don’t have info on it yet. Stay tuned.�

Mary J. Blige Goes on Tour

Mary J. Blige is planning to head out on the road for a tour and she is taking Jazmine Sullivan with her. The R&B singer recently announced plans for a month-long US tour this fall which would make stops in New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Detroit and Oakland. When asked about getting the chance to work with Jazmine, Mary said �[She is] one of the most amazing female singers out right now in this generation, and of course, she’s got to be a part of my generation. She’s my sister. I love this girl’s voice and spirit. Jazmine Sullivan is for real, and she’s going on the road with me.�

There�s a big ball of indie spirit coming to YouTube. On Thursday, August 5th at 10PM, the video streaming site with show The Arcade Fire�s live Madison Square Garden concert, which is being directed by the highly imaginative filmmaker Terry Gilliam. The combination of the band�s alluring, haunting music along with the director�s ability to create beautiful and perplexing imagery should result in a very spectacular show that would be hard to forget. All the fun will kick off a new online concert series on YouTube called �Unhinged�, which is aimed at audiences who can�t afford to go to an actual concert.

Lady Gaga the new Madonna?

If you watched Lady Gaga�s concert in New York last Friday, you might have noticed something interesting. Unfortunately the rain falling down on New York City ruined Lady Gaga�s hair, but in the mean time brought forth a look very similar to the one Madonna had in the year 1985. If you did see watch her performance, you could see that the resemblance does not stop at her look. This question is on everyone�s lips: is Lady Gaga or is she not the new Madonna? One thing is for sure: no one since Madonna shocked like Lady Gaga.

Recent reports stated that John Mayer suffered a very serious affliction while on his European Tour which caused his immediate return to the states. Apparently his representatives have recently revealed that John Mayer will not be continuing his tour, but they also had the courtesy of saying why. Apparently, after eating something nasty in Copenhagen, poor John Mayer was struck with� diarrhea. Well now� this explains a lot and there is certainly justice behind John Mayer�s decision to go back home. After all, what kind of a concert could he possibly have if he takes a brake every twenty minutes or so? Diarrhea does usually pass after a few days� but why not take the opportunity to skip the tour and have a little R&R?
