The friend revealed to In Touch that “While she and Rene are actively trying for a baby, she is not currently expecting.” In mid-August, the 41-year old Canadian performer and her 67-year old husband conceived with the help of fertility doctors in New York. The couple’s publicist announced the pregnancy news, sharing that “They are crazy in love over the news.” I wonder what happened that caused the loss of the baby. Celine and Rene already have a son, Rene-Charles, who is 8 years old.

Celine Dion can blow into a city with a security retinue that may rival anything that Obama or McCain might have. And she has fruitier demands too! The Times of South Africa reported that Celine is demanding 11 bodyguards onstage at all times for her show at Madison Square Garden last month. The best part of her rider: at least 8 have to be on chairs that are able to swivel 30 degrees. She also needs to have a dentist on call at all times. She also has to have French cherries and Bavarian figs. Her rider goes on and on for 67 pages. What the heck does she need that filled up all 67 pages?

Celine Dion had cocktails with her idol Sarah Jessica Parker.

When the ‘My Heart Will Go On? singer discovered the ‘Sex and the City: The Movie? actress was staying in an adjacent hotel room on a recent trip to Paris, France, she immediately went to visit her.

Celine, 40, then invited Sarah back to her suite, where the pair watched several classic episodes of the hit US TV show on which the new movie is based, while drinking cocktails.

Sarah later asked hotel managers for a room transfer to escape her over-enthusiastic fan.

Celine recently revealed she has something in common with Sarah?s ‘Sex and the City? character Carrie Bradshaw ? they both love shoes.

Speaking about her hobbies, the music star said: ‘I own between two and three thousand pairs of shoes.’

‘Sex and the City: The Movie? is released worldwide at the end of May.

Celine Dion was seen shopping around the Upper East Side?s Madison Avenue on Friday when she made stops at Barney?s, Chopard and Chanel. Maybe she?s shopping for a glamorous costume. But it?s not for her tour though. Instead, it?s for TV.

Celine will be a guest on the ABC soap ?All My Children?. She will actually play herself as a guest on Erica Kane?s (Susan Lucci) talk show ?New Beginnings? and will sing the title track to her new CD ?Taking Chances?.

Her feature episode was aired just before Thanksgiving on Wednesday, November 21. It also marks her first venture into daytime television acting.
