Angelina Jolie and partner Brad Pitt spent Christmas this year in Namibia mingling with locals and hitting the beach. The couple and their six children arrived in the African nation, where Shiloh was born four years ago, on December 19 and stayed for a week at a private villa at the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary and Lodge in the village of Langstrand. According to UsMagazine.com, Brad, 47, and Angie, 35, spent their holidays at the villa, hitting the beach and exploring the Naukluft Mountains. The pair were seen posing for a picture over the weekend with Shiloh and Zahara, six, with some locals, including the family of Dr. Rudie van Vuuren, a famous physician, and the conservationist who runs the nature sanctuary. A local source told the entertainment website: “They really enjoyed their trip. “They were able to mingle with locals, visit Swakopmund and go to the beach there and also the beach in their neighborhood.”

Actress Angelina Jolie said she has ‘happy memories’ of being in New York as a child. The 35-year-old recently attended the world premiere of her new movie The Tourist, which she stars in with actor Johnny Depp, that was held in New York. She said to ET: “I love New York at Christmastime, I used to come here all the time when I was a little girl, with my mum, so I have happy memories of Rockefeller Centre and the park.” The actress is mum to six kids with partner Brad Pitt, who accompanied her to the premiere, and said she was excited to ‘be able to take the babies on a carriage ride’. She added: “I think just kind of walking around really was my favourite thing to do. Now it’s a little harder.”

Feeding six hungry kids is not easy Angelina Jolie says, especially when they are all fussy eaters.

The 35-year-old superstar mom says she loves preparing meals for her young brood but it can be a tricky task.

“The problem with my packed lunches is everybody is very outspoken about what they want, so I often say, ‘I’m not a waitress!’” the actress told the British morning show GMTV this week.

The Oscar-winner, who is currently in Europe promoting her action thriller Salt, says their shopping list is only going to grow, People reports.

“We go through so much food,” she complained.

“And they’re still little. So, I can imagine it’s going to get worse.”

Jolie spoke about her joy, declaring her “lovely little people” bring “beautiful chaos” to the life she shares with Brad Pitt.

Salt actress Angelina Jolie appeared to tell off her son Maddox after he hit his brother Pax when they arrived in Tokyo.

The 35-year-old was recently spotted walking through Narita International Airport with her four eldest children – Maddox, eight, Pax, six, Zahara, five, and Shiloh, four – as she arrived to promote her new movie.

As they were walking through the airport, her eldest son Maddox hit his brother in the mouth and appeared to be told off by his mother who leant over and gave him a talking to.

Jolie has previously said that she is better at making sure her daughters are disciplined and partner Brad Pitt is better at taking care of their sons.

The couple also have twins Knox and Vivienne, two, who were absent from the trip with their mother and siblings.

Actress Angelina Jolie has said her partner Brad Pitt was ‘very supportive’ when she decided to go back to work after having their twins.

Jolie, 35, gave birth to twins Knox and Vivienne in July 2008 and she went back to work for the first time when she signed up to appear in the spy movie Salt.

She said to UK newspaper The Sun: “Brad was very supportive. I had just had Vivienne and Knox and I was sitting in my nightgown in bed feeling very, very girly and very soft, and I sat with him on the bed and I said: ‘I think I found something that will help me get kind of fired up and physical again and it might be good.

“I hadn’t worked for over a year because I had been pregnant and so he was kind of, you know, anything that I ready to do, he was going to jump behind but he was happy for me.”

Angelina Jolie reportedly checked the horse’s welfare before wearing her new horse-hair bag.

The 34-year-old recently stepped out in Venice with three of her six children, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh.

She was pictured with an Akris acru horse-hair bag, which costs just under $5,000.

However, the star reportedly asked her stylist to make sure that no horses were hurt in the making of the bag.

One of Akris’ designers, Albert Kriemler, said to Women’s Wear Daily: “We told her horses get haircuts just like we do.”

He added that the brand make their bags only from hair from horses’ tails.

Angelina Jolie’s new movie The Tourist is expected to increase sales of Patricia Cornwell’s popular crime novels.

The already popular books are based around medical examiner Dr Kay Scarpetta and a film adaptation is currently being made with Jolie taking on the lead role.

Jennifer Berlin, a press officer at Waterstones, believes the flick will bring added attention to the novels.

She told Splash News: “A new Patricia Cornwell book is always an event and a sure bet to hit number one. It’s about time Hollywood recognised one of the most iconic characters in crime fiction.”

Berlin added that sales of the books are expected to increase as the film gains more attention.

She said: “A major blockbuster film will certainly benefit sales and although awareness of The Tourist is still building, it will definitely lead even more people to discover this incredible series.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have taken their kids off the beaten track for ice cream while in Venice.

The owner of La Gelateria Lo Squero said Jolie, 34, has visited the parlour several times and it is not usually a tourist trap.

Owner Simone Sambo said to PEOPLE: “This parlour is not really a touristy place. This is the third time Mrs Jolie has come to our store. The first time she was on her own with Maddox. It was during the Venice Film Festival three or four years ago. The following year, again during the festival period, Jolie returned but this time with Mr Pitt.”

The couple have been in Venice with their six children as Jolie prepares to start filming The Tourist.

Jennifer Aniston has shown her charitable side, donating $500,000 to help earthquake-ravaged Haiti.

The actress reportedly gave the money to Doctors Without Borders, Haitian health care provider Partners In Health and AmeriCares, all organisations participating in the relief effort in the Caribbean country.

Aniston also took part in Friday night’s celebrity telethon, Hope For Haiti Now which has so far raised $58million.

Her ex-husband Brad Pitt, along with wife Angelina Jolie, donated $1million soon after the quake struck.

Russian film director Nikita Mikhalkov has squashed reports he is looking to sign on Angelina Jolie to a new World War II movie.

The Oscar-winning director said: “That’s the first time I hear about this. [Newspapers] can write anything.”

Jolie was rumoured to be courted for the part of a school teacher in the movie, titled Love and War, who witnesses the executions of her family and whose fiancé is killed.

Love and War is a Russian-Italian-Moldovan project with directors Mikhalkov and Moldovan directors Francesco Gagliardi and Valeriu Jereghi.

Mikhakov, described by many as Russia’s finest living film-maker, said he had no time for new projects and was hard at work on Burnt by the Sun 2, a sequel to the movie that won the Best Foreign Film Oscar in 1994.

A sizzling report that Brad Pitt sought the counsel of his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston in a secret New York hotel meeting has been denied.

A representative for Aniston has quashed the report that she was a go-to girl for her needy ex-husband mired in relationship problems with Angelina Jolie.

The alleged rendezvous, at Pitt’s Essex Hotel suite near Central Park, “never happened”, the rep told US Weekly. The magazine went on to report that Jolie and Pitt are going great guns, and even considering having a seventh child.

Pitt and Jolie have said they will not marry while everyone cannot marry, in a reference to the gay marriage movement.

Sydney’s Channel Nine Hollywood correspondent said that although the report was of the butler-told-the-nanny variety, it was definitely “solid”.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s eldest son Maddox gave away a watch he won at an arcade to a little girl who was watching nearby.

Eight-year-old Maddox is the oldest of Brad, 45, and Angelina’s six children and it is claimed Brad recently took Maddox to the Dave and Buster’s arcade in New York to play some games.

One visitor, who was there at the same time as Brad and Maddox, said to US OK! magazine: “My cousin’s six-year-old daughter was watching Brad’s son play the crane game and he won a little silver watch.

“She had no idea who Maddox or Brad Pitt are. But Maddox saw her watching and he came over and gave her the watch. She was just grinning like you wouldn’t believe. He just made her so happy!”

Inglourious Basterds star Brad Pitt has said it’s “all about surviving” in the mornings with a family as huge as his.

Pitt, 45, and partner Angelina Jolie, 34, have six young children ranging from one to seven years old.

The actor was asked about their giant bed for their growing family, and he said: “We have a three-metre wide bed, but even that isn’t big enough. They all come crawling in in the morning. It’s just about surviving! We all have sleep deprivation.”

Pitt was being interviewed by German magazine BILD, and he also spoke about a typical day in his crazy family.

He said: “I get going early, make breakfast, get the kids dressed, brush their teeth and take them to school. Angelina is working at the moment. We take turns.”

David Beckham is reportedly being lined up to appear in a new Armani ad campaign with Angelina Jolie.

The 34-year-old footballer has already shot ads for the designer brand before and also with his wife Victoria, 35. It is now claimed that bosses want the couple to appear in a campaign together.

A source said: “When you have David Beckham and Angelina Jolie signed up to your fashion house, it’s a no-brainer to link them up.”

The source added: “They appeal to a diverse audience, and a collaboration would create so much publicity, it would push Armani head and shoulders above their rivals.

“There are a few contract issues to be addressed, but marketing experts are being tasked with coming up with clever ideas for a print campaign.

“The two are exceptionally beautiful on camera, but both committed to long-term partners so the ad would have to be sexy without offending their other halves.”
