Beyonce is releasing a deluxe edition of her new album

And it’s all being done through the proper intermediaries… namely Target and all of their stores. It seems that Beyonce has struck some sort of a deal with Target to release the deluxe edition of her new album, “4”, only in their stores. The album will include three new songs, three new remixes and even an exclusive version of the supposedly epic “Run the World (Girls)” music video… that probably has two extra dancers among the many that are already in there. Still, it does look like Beyonce is planning to pursue commercialism at its best and Target are probably very happy that they’re the ones she’s doing it with.

Lady GaGa will have a new single out next week

Whoever is in charge of marketing Lady GaGa’s upcoming album is apparently trying to prepare the ground as well as possible before the record’s upcoming release. To that extent, the Pittsburg 961 KISS Radio station has received an e-mail from Interscope Records of which they had the following to announce: “We will be servicing Lady Gaga “Edge of Glory” on Monday 5/9 at 3PM via eFolio from IGAPromotion. The single will go live on iTunes at 1PM PST/4PM EST. This will be the kick off to the iTunes countdown to the album release on 5/23.” So it looks like Lady GaGa’s popularity will constantly be on the rise in the coming days… perhaps even weeks. The iron will soon be hot enough to strike.

New Britney Spears Music Coming Next Week

After hearing so many amazing details about Britney Spears� upcoming album, I was itching to hear some of her new music. My wish is about to come true as EW via MTV News reports that the pop singer will be premiering her brand new track �Hold it Against Me� next Friday. According to Sharon Dastur, the program director for New York�s Z100, the Dr. Luke and Max Martin-produced track has a unique beat, saying �[It has] this infectious bass beat beneath the song. Plus, the hook is just amazing.� I�m so excited for next Friday to come around. My calendar�s already marked!

The band rocked songs from their new album Waking Up, including their current single, “All The Right Moves.” The Colorado quintet also sat down for an intimate interview where they weigh in on critics, Coldplay and the story behind their sophomore release. Nirvana Live At Reading To Premeir On Fuse

On November 2 at 11 p.m. ET, Fuse, the national music network, will televise the worldwide premiere of Nirvana Live at Reading, the band’s legendary, never-before-released 1992 Reading concert. The show, marking the first time that Nirvana fans will experience the epochal August 30, 1992 headlining appearance at UK’s Reading Festival, will debut as an hour long broadcast the night before the limited edition 90 minute CD+DVD Deluxe Edition is by Geffen/UMe.

Featuring 25 songs including “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “All Apologies” and “Come As You Are,” Nirvana’s performance at Reading ranked No. 1 in Kerrang Magazine’s “100 Gigs That Shook The World” chart and was voted as “Nirvana’s No. 1 Greatest Moment” by fans in a recent NME poll.

“Fuse is excited to provide Nirvana fans with the first opportunity to witness this historic music event since the concert 17 years ago,” said David Weier, vice president, programming, Fuse. “Not only are we airing a highly anticipated, never-before-seen concert in more than 65 million homes, we are providing Nirvana’s loyal fan base with companion programming for a comprehensive and unique viewing experience.”

Leading up to the premiere of Nirvana Live at Reading, Fuse will air “Loaded: Nirvana,” a half-hour of Nirvana’s greatest music videos at 10 p.m. ET, followed by “Videos That Rocked the World: Smells Like Teen Spirit,” a celebration of the legendary music video which was a breakthrough for music, entertainment, culture and society.

While the show’s centerpiece was a performance of nearly the entire Nevermind tracklist, also noteworthy were early performances of three as yet unrecorded songs which wouldn’t be released until 2 years later on In Utero: “All Apologies,” “Dumb,” and in its first ever public performance, “Tourettes.” The career-spanning setlist also reached back to the band’s 1989 Sub Pop debut album, Bleach, for “Blew,” “About A Girl,” “School,” “Negative Creep” and first single “Love Buzz,” and even further back to the mid-’80s for “Spank Thru.” Other songs from the Reading set would appear in studio form on the Incesticide compilation later in the year: “Aneurysm,” “Been A Son” and “Sliver.” Additionally, the band played a pair of beloved covers by two bands that helped shape the formative Nirvana sound– “The Money Will Roll Right In” by Fang and “D-7″ by The Wipers.

OneRepublic To Perform on Ellen DeGeneres

Alice in Chains talk with Metallica about new album

Today, and for the next 3 weeks, AOL’s Noisecreep.com will be releasing an exclusive and/or unheard audio clip from the amazing FMQB Metallica/Alice in Chains interview, “Inside Alice In Chains: Black Gives Way To Blue.” This week’s clip features Metallica talking to Alice in Chains about their collaboration with Elton John on the song “Black Gives Way To Blue.” “It’s a really intense song, and a really open-hearted song to Layne and the experience that we went through,” Cantrell says to Hetfield and Ulrich about the title track. “Facing up to all of that stuff, and owning all the good, and owning all the bad, and moving forward together. It was a lot of big steps…things were pretty black for us. Breaking Benjamin on Xbox Live

Breaking Benjamin lead singer Ben Burnley is going to be part of Xbox Live’s “Game With Fame” series tonight (10/15)! Ben will be playing “Call of Duty 4″ with the gamertag “BreakBen GwF” (make sure you put the space between BreakBen and GwF!) between the hours of 7pm-9pm EST. Anyone can play so all you need to do is log into XBox live and play “Call of Duty 4″. Make sure to bring your “A” game!

Breaking Benjamin have also just released their new album Dear Agony on September 29th. The album made a big splash at iTunes, debuting at Number 1 on the album chart.

Breaking Benjamin are also about to embark on a fall tour with Rev Theory, Sick Puppies (select dates), The Veer Union (select dates), and Adelitas Way.

Carly Simon Lawsuit

Singer Carly Simon is not at all amused with Starbucks and their promotion of her 2008 album �This Kind of Love�. And if she�s not happy, a lawsuit is the only natural thing that follows. The album�s price was slashed after lack luster sales and Carly attests that by Starbucks not promoting the album to her standards before cutting the price, the company stigmatized her album as one that could not be sold at full price. Starbucks doesn�t seem too threatened with the suit though saying that after even heavier promotion in the New York and Boston areas, �sales continued to lag as the title received tepid response from music consumers.� Carly should just accept that her album was a bomb.

Adam Lambert on Top

Coming in second place on American Idol isn�t so bad � just ask Adam Lambert. The season 8 runner up�s first album isn�t due until November 24th but it�s already made its way to the number 2 spot on the Amazon.com sales list last week. The singer is second on the list only to iconic diva Barbara Streisand who tops the chart with her new jazz album. What�s even more astonishing about Adam�s album is that it made the jump to the top of the list on its own. His record label RCA hadn�t announced that the album could be pre-ordered but that obviously didn�t stop his fans from spreading the news. And here�s an update, once the weekend rolled around, Adam made it to the top!

The first single, “Automatic” is a metallic anthem with layered, buzzing guitars, stomping percussion, and a falsetto chorus made to be belted out by a stadium full of people while “World Behind My Wall” redefines the power ballad with depth, introspection, musical confidence and an irresistible sing-along chorus. The band tracked songs in Hamburg, Miami, and L.A. “Bill drove us all crazy, constantly coming in with things, even though the old songs weren�t finished yet,” says Tom, who’s fond of frequently ribbing his brother. “Apart from that, we just didn�t limit ourselves, and we used new instruments.”
