Salma Hayek has revealed that doing a juice cleanse helps her break bad eating habits. The curvy Puss In Boots actress said that despite her love of comfort food, she keeps her fabulous figure by drinking her own nutrient-packed concoction of carrots, apples, beets and lemons. “Carrots and apples give you a super boost of Vitamin A and antioxidants,” she told Us Weekly. “My daughter, Valentina, four, loves this juice, too!” And after getting so much goodness into her body, the 45-year-old said it makes her reluctant to fill up on bad foods and undo all her good work. “When I feel stressed, I turn to food for comfort – but I don’t like to diet and I’m not good at it,” she admitted. “After doing a juice cleanse, I’m motivated to eat healthier and not emotionally. Cleansing is like my meditation. “It makes me stop, focus and think about what I’m putting into my body. I’m making a commitment to my health and hitting the reset button.”

Ryan Reynolds and his rumoured new lady Blake Lively have been spotted taking a birthday dog walk. The actor – who divorced from Scarlett Johansson earlier this year – turned 35 on Sunday and was joined by Lively in Boston over the weekend, where he is making action movie R.I.P.D. And a source told People magazine the meet-up between the Green Lantern co-stars and their dogs outside a Boston apartment was no happy accident. “They are very much a couple,” the insider said. “They’re really happy together.” Lively, 24, recently split with Leonardo DiCaprio after a summer romance.

The Up All Night actress knows what she is going through and wants Rancic to know that she’s here for her. Applegate, 39, told E! Online: “I’m here for her. “I know that journey so well, how that feels [to get] that phone call. I get what’s she’s going through.” On Monday, Giuliana, 37, revealed that doctors diagnosed her with the condition after she sought their advice over her fertility struggles.

Recently single J-Lo has been spotted sharing a cosy diner with Bradley Cooper, say US reports. According to sources quoted in the New York media Lopez, 42, and Cooper, 36, appeared to be on a romantic date at the plush Manhattan joint Per Se on Saturday. An onlooker was quoted as saying: “Cooper waited about ten minutes for her to arrive and she turned up wearing a white bandage dress looking ludicrously hot.” The pair were seated at a corner table and apparently spent the whole night smiling and chatting together intimately. “It looked like they were flirting heavily then they left together out of a back door,” continued the source. Reps for the Jenny From the Block singer did not comment but Cooper’s rep responded with: “They were meeting for business, regarding a project.”

Kate Middleton’s famous wedding dress, which is on display in Buckingham Palace, is expected to rake in £8 million by the time the exhibition ends. The silk gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen has already attracted a record number of visitors to the palace, and it is expected that by October 3 more than 500,000 people will pass through the doors. More than 354,000 visitors have visited the palace since it opened to the public on July 23, which according to the Royal Collection is up 20pc on last year and a record for the period. A spokeswoman for the Royal Collection told British newspaper the Daily Express: “This year has been our highest to date. The wedding dress has proved very popular.”

Kardashian told Us Weekly that he hopes that appearing on the show will help him to shed the pounds. He said: “I really want to get into shape. You probably wouldn’t know, but I’m the most insecure and overweight I’ve ever been. “I’m over 200lb, so I want to drop weight and this will be a good start.” But he might have a long road ahead of him. He added: “I’m not a confident dancer at all… I don’t want to be that guy who doesn’t dance at his own wedding!”

Brangelina’s brood enjoyed a good, old-fashioned British day out with their grandfather Jon Voight on Saturday. While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were off working, kids Shiloh, five, Zahara, six, and Pax, seven, hung out with Angie’s dad in Richmond Green, close to their rental home in the London suburb. “There was a cricket match on so they just stopped to have a look,” an onlooker told People magazine. “Jon explained to the children what was going on [with the game]… it was a really traditional English scene. “Then they just crossed the green and went to the ice cream van on the corner. They seemed really close and happy, and Jon’s [companion] was throwing Zahara’s teddy bear in the air and pretending to make it fly. It was all just lots of kiddie stuff and the children really seemed to be enjoying themselves.” The couple are currently splitting their time between Richmond and Scotland while Brad films World War Z. “Angelina is now doing bits of work herself, and Brad is obviously busy with his filming, [and] there are obviously times when the childcare clashes,” the source added. “So it’s a case of Grandpa to the rescue.”

Julia Roberts’ Fireflies in the Garden finally gets US release date

Hollywood actress Julia Roberts’ much-delayed film Fireflies in the Garden has finally landed a US release date – it will hit the big screen in October. The movie, which also stars Ryan Reynolds, was first screened at the Berlin Film Festival in 2008, and was later shown in a limited number of European cinemas, but failed to be picked up by a US distributor. But now people in Los Angeles and New York will get the chance to see the flick when it’s released in cinemas in the cities on October 14. Director and writer Dennis Lee told Variety: “I am so pleased our film will finally get a theatrical release in the US. “Anyone familiar with our story knows the road to this moment has been paved with challenges. It’s not lost on me how much care and determination it took to bring Fireflies to light.” The film explores the complexities of love and commitment in a family torn apart when faced with a tragedy.

The pair, who are great friends off screen and were recently spotted hiking together in the Montana hills with Bullock’s son Louis, are getting together for a new animated TV series. They have been friends for more than a decade and recently have helped each other through their splits from respective partners Jesse James and Scarlett Johansson. Now according to a report on Deadline.com, the pair will be together a lot more for the animated series And Then There Was Gordon. They will both provide voices for the cartoon and will also produce the series together. Reynolds will help write the series with Allan Loeb, while Bullock takes on an executive producer role. This marks the writing debut for Reynolds.

Glee star Chord Overstreet is set to guest star on the new season of The Middle. The 22-year-old actor, who is best known for playing the role of Sam Evans on Glee, will be a guest star on the upcoming third season of the hit US show. The Middle is a US sitcom focusing on a couple living in the fictional town of Orson, Indiana, with their three kids Axl, Sue and Brick. In the episode, Overstreet will play a new fourth grade teacher called Ralph Wilkerson, whose strict teaching methods are different from the parenting styles of Brick’s mum and dad. He will be seen in the episode in the US on September 28.

The 37-year-old actress has been involved with HALO for many years and took Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh to find out a bit about what they do, which is specialise in removing landmines. “It was a privilege to visit the HALO headquarters and meet their committed staff,” Angelina said in a statement. “In the aftermath of war, HALO’s mine-clearing efforts are fundamental to a safe return and community building. “I was happy to have the opportunity to teach our children landmine awareness in a safe environment.” “Pax, Maddox and Zahara all come from countries that have had land mines and war,” Guy Willoughby, co-founder and director of the HALO trust, added to Life & Style. “She felt it was important for them to learn about land mines in a safe setting.” “We spent half an hour showing her four older kids what the land mine issues were and what they looked like. Then the kids went to muck around with my kids at the farm.”

The 47-year-old actor admitted that he has developed a love for social networking because it enables him to have his say and speak directly to fans. “I’ve come to really like Twitter. You really do get to see what I’m about, and I like sharing with my fans. A lot of my fans have been with me – without dating myself – for like three decades, so it’s great to be able to reach out to them,” he told Parade.com. “It’s a great way to set the record straight immediately. I was on a TV show this morning and Donald Trump was on as well and we were having a few laughs and I said, ‘Donald, you should get back into the race. You would be so great in a Republican debate,’ and then there were immediate headlines that I urged him to run for president. “So I went to Twitter and said, ‘Donald and I were just having fun.’ In a previous time, this story becomes I called for Donald to run for president. Now, you can immediately go in and tell people the spirit of the conversation. “I like the way you can circumvent the media gatekeepers and go right to the people. That’s my favourite thing about Twitter.”

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have released an official statement vehemently denying reports that they have split up. The couple said in the statement: “Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumours circulating about our relationship are completely false.” They added: “We are still together, and our marriage is intact.” US magazine In Touch Weekly and other media outlets in the States had earlier reported rumours that the pair, who have two children together, were splitting after 13 years of marriage. US entertainment website TMZ.com reported that when it contacted Pinkett Smith’s rep, Karynne Tencer, earlier today, she said: “What? In Touch said that? I know nothing about this… Lord. I’m going back to bed.” The 49-year-old Men In Black star released the joint statement through his publicist a few hours after his wife had reportedly denied having an extra-marital affair with her Hawthorne co-star, Marc Anthony.
