Mark-Paul Gosselaar proposed to girlfriend with 5-carat diamond ring
Saved By The Bell star Mark-Paul Gosselaar proposed to his girlfriend with a romantic 5-carat diamond ring. The 37-year-old actor recently got down on one knee to propose to girlfriend Catriona McGinn with a 3-carat cushion-cut centre diamond ring, surrounded by smaller diamonds resulting in it being 5 carats overall. Celebrity jeweller Neil Lane worked with the actor on the ring and told PEOPLE: “He’s a romantic at heart and he was looking to express it. I worked on creating her dream ring for about a month. “She had seen a ring of mine and Mark-Paul brought in a photo of it and we started customising it, finding the perfect stone, showing sketches, discussing the mounting and how many smaller diamonds it would have and really designing it together. “It’s rare to find a guy who really wants to find the perfect ring and be so very involved in the process.”
