Courteney Cox to direct episode of Cougar Town

Actress Courteney Cox is set to make her directorial TV debut on an episode of her show Cougar Town. The former Friends star will take charge of one of the third season’s episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter. A representative for ABC said that the 47-year-old, who plays Jules on the hit series, ‘is currently scheduled to direct an upcoming episode’. The Hollywood star has previously directed a short film called The Monday Before Thanksgiving in 2008. Courteney recently hinted that Cougar Town could be renamed Friends With Beverages in a play on the title of her former show. The third series of Cougar Town is set to air in 2012.
