Tina Fey gives birth to baby girl
30 Rock star Tina Fey has given birth to a baby girl. The writer, actress and comedienne and her composer husband Jeffrey Richmond welcomed a daughter into the world on August 10. Penelope Athena, as she has been named, joins big sister Alice, five, in the Fey-Richmond family. The multiple Emmy-winner joked with Ellen DeGeneres during her pregnancy that she and her husband wanted to wait to discover the baby’s gender. “I’m just going to see what it chooses to wear to prom,” Fey said at the time. Fey also called her second pregnancy “easy”. The Bossypants author, 41, first revealed that she was expecting to Oprah Winfrey in April. She spoke about agonizing over having a second kid – but explained how she and her husband decided it was time to expand their family. Fey said at the time: “My husband and I really decided that we felt rather than risk having 30 Rock end in several years and feeling like part of our family is missing that we were going to prioritise our family.”
