Glee Season Finale Songs
“Glee” season 2 has come to an end and boy what and ending it was. With the nationals in New York, it was pretty much expected that even the songs covered were going to focus on the city and Broadway. Of the tons of amazing music from Broadway, the cast covered “For Good” from “Wicked” as sung by Lea Michele and Chris Colfer, and a mash up of Madonna’s “I Love New York” with “New York, New York” from “On the Town” as sung by the New Directions. Mark Salling, Chord Overstreet, Harry Shum Jr. and Kevin McHale sang “Bella Notte” from the movie “Lady and the Tramp”. Matthew Morrison got to sing one of his songs, “Still Got Tonight”. One of the competing glee clubs took on Usher’s “Yeah”. And then we saw a bunch of originals, including “My Cup” sung by Heather Morris and Kevin, as well as the competition songs “Pretending” sung by Lea and Cory Monteith, “Light Up the World” by the New Directions and “As Long as You’re There” by Charice and Vocal Adrenaline. What did you think of the finale music?
