US actor James Van Der Beek is back on TV playing himself in the new sitcom Apartment 23. The new show has been created by Nahnatchka Khan and follows the lives of two very different roommates who learn to live with each other in New York. Dreama Walker takes on the role of June, an ambitious but naive girl from the Midwest while the character Chloe will be played by Krysten Ritter, a con-artist who is proud of her mischievous ways of conning other people, including her roommates. The new comedy is similar to the classic sitcom The Odd Couple. The 34-year-old actor is best known for his role of Dawson Leery in the TV show Dawson’s Creek.
