Prince William sent a letter of congratulations from FA Chairman David Bernstein
Prince William has been sent a letter of congratulations on his wedding day from the FA Chairman David Bernstein. The 28-year-old prince, who is president of the FA, married Kate Middleton on April 29 at Westminster Abbey in London and received a letter of congratulations from Mr Bernstein. The letter said: "Dear Prince William, It is with the greatest delight that I offer both my personal congratulations and those of everyone involved with The Football Association on your marriage. "The FA considers it a great honour and privilege that you are able to serve as our President and as such takes great pride and pleasure in witnessing both yours and Catherine’s happiness. "I wish you both a very long, happy and healthy life together and we very much look forward to welcoming you both to a match here at Wembley very soon."
