Actress Liv Tyler mistaken for transvestite, according to US report
Hollywood actress Liv Tyler got mistaken for a Middle Eastern transvestite at a New York party. According to a US report, The Lord of the Rings beauty stepped outside for a cigarette when a clubgoer was stunned to discover she was really a woman. The party guest told her: “You’re not a man! I totally thought you were a man! You look like a transsexual.” A stunned Liv, 33, reportedly asked the man: “I look like a tranny?” According to the New York Daily News, the man replied: “Yes, a transsexual from Dubai.” “Wow,” Liv, who stands 5ft 10ins tall, jokingly told him. “I’ll take it!” He then told her: “Oh my god, you are beautiful.” The actress had been at the Target and Opening Ceremony party at Manhattan’s Ace Hotel when the mix-up happened. A representative for Liv was unavailable for comment.
