George Clooney fans will not get to smell like the Hollywood hunk after he turned down the chance to create his own scent. Clooney had been in discussions about developing his own fragrance with Coty Inc. but talks broke down when he demanded a $30m deal, according to US reports. “George seemed to be not that keen, unless the deal really made it worth his while,” an insider told the New York Post. “But Coty pulled out saying this figure made the deal impossible.” Coty has previously produced fragrances for celebrities such as Kate Moss, David and Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lopez and Sarah Jessica Parker. The company declined to comment while a representative for Clooney, 49, said his commercial agent could not be reached.
