David Schwimmer has revealed he had to delay finding love to star in Friends. The actor, who played Ross Geller in the hit series, said the 15-hour shifts left little time for chasing girls, much to his mum’s disappointment. He told The Sun: “My mother always told me: ‘Find a good woman’. It was great advice, but hard to follow. As I got older, it seemed she would ask every other Thursday. But it was hard, working 14 or 15 hours a day on Friends. It was tough to meet anyone. And who would put up with those hours? I had some long-term relationships but I never came close to marriage. I also had a strong work ethic from both my parents. It is the way I was raised, a lot of pressure to achieve. My personal life was put on full-time hold. Poor mom must have thought she would never see her son married.” But his mum’s dreams came true when he married British photographer Zoe Buckman, 25, last year. She is now pregnant with their first child.
