Padma Lakshmi has spoken out about the custody battle surrounding her daughter Krishna. Baby Krishna’s father Adam Dell, 41, is a venture capitalist and he recently filed a lawsuit against the star seeking full custody of the little girl. It is claimed an earlier agreement meant he gets to see his daughter nine days a month but is not seeking full custody. His attorney recently spoke to the New York Post and said: “Adam Dell, above all else, wants to have an active and substantial role in the upbringing of his daughter with Padma Lakshmi.” Lakshmi’s rep said to UsMagazine.com: “Ms. Lakshmi believes that family matters should be kept private. She asks that those who join her in wanting the best for her daughter do the same.”
