Jennifer Aniston is said to be eyeing up this luxury penthouse apartment, according to US reports. The former Friends star was recently spotted touring the $8.75m home in downtown Manhattan. The “extraordinary” triplex property — which was originally on the market in 2007, with an asking price of $14.5m — boasts five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a landscaped roof garden, 17ft-high ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace. After it failed to attract a buyer in 2007, it was put back on the market in 2009 — at the reduced price of $9.95m, according to the New York Post. But it still didn’t sell — and has now been reduced again. The Greenwich Village apartment, next to New York University, also features a hi-tech sound and lighting system throughout, a huge metal staircase, and original steel beams. A representative for Aniston, 41, was unavailable for comment.
