Actress Carey Mulligan is moving to New York to start filming new movie The Great Gatsby. Mulligan, 25, recently landed the part of Daisy Buchanan in the new movie by director Baz Luhrmann. The actress attended the launch party of Google’s new shopping site Boutiques.com in New York. She said to JustJared: “I’m excited that I’ll be spending more time in New York. I’m moving here next year for The Great Gatsby. I’m very excited!” Asked if she has to audition for the role, she said: “Of course! The audition process was very intense but I had a great time. [Luhrmann] has been so amazing and I can’t wait to work together.”
