Supermodel Jessica White was provoked into a late-night fight over a taxi cab, her lawyer claims. The Sports Illustrated stunner was arrested at 4.50am on Saturday in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood after allegedly hitting 28-year-old Vanessa Klan. Sean Penn’s 26-year-old ex-girlfriend was held for 12 hours before being released by a judge. She has been charged with misdemeanor assault and is due back in court on December 15. “The Sports Illustrated supermodels that I represent, such as Rachel Hunter and Jessica White, are all good sports and super people, not the type of women that get into catfights,” said lawyer Mark Jay Heller. “Stories concerning celebrities frequently get blown up, and I’m confident that when the air is released from this blown-up story that has obviously been overinflated, all that will be left will be hot air with no substance.” White was reportedly out ‘celebrating’ her split from Hollywood star Penn.
