Lupe Fiasco Plans Protest

With the music industry going in a downward spiral, I think it’s a stupid move to hold a protest against the record company that’s releasing your album. But apparently, Lupe Fiasco think it’s alright and is going to do so on October 15. The rapper along with his fans will stand outside of Atlantic Records in New York and protest against the label for taking so long to release his album, which was recorded in July. Lupe said “It’s one of the sadder parts of being on a major record label. At a certain point it’s out of your hands. About a date for ‘Lasers,’ it’s truly on them. I have no idea what they’re going to do.”
