Shia LaBeouf says he learned first-hand what strength was while filming Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps with Michael Douglas. “He is a wolf, and he is a strong man,” LaBeuof said. “And I know of his vulnerabilities. When he came to set he was dealing with a lot, but never was it, ‘Woe is me’.” During the film’s shoot, Douglas’s son Cameron was facing a trial for drugs-related charges. Subsequently the 31-year-old was sentenced to five years in prison. Talking to Us magazine at the film’s premiere in New York, LaBeouf described working with the Oscar-winning actor as “an out-of-body experience.” Douglas, who is currently battling stage-four throat cancer, appeared at the red carpet event but did not speak to the media. Co-star Josh Brolin said that the 65-year-old is “doing as well as can be expected. I think the fact that the guy’s coming out here in the first place is a testament to who he is, to his character. He’s not hiding, and I think that’s great.”
