Liev Schreiber jets off on holiday amid love split rumours
Actor Liev Schreiber jetted off for a diving trip with pals amid rumours of a rift with long-term lover Naomi Watts.
The Scream star headed to Tahiti in French Polynesia, leaving behind the King Kong actress and the couple’s two young sons.
A source claimed: “The two have not been getting along lately and Schreiber has decided he needs some space from tensions at home.”
He had been expected to promote new spy flick Salt. But instead he has gone off to “sort things out mentally”, it was claimed.
The couple, who have been seen in public together at a string of events recently, have been the subject of split claims for several months. But a spokesman for Schreiber, 42, insisted the claims are “ridiculous”, telling a US newspaper: “Liev went on a diving trip with a group of friends. His boys are too young to go.”
A representative for Watts, 41, was unavailable for comment.
