Xavier Samuel bitten by raccoon
Eclipse star Xavier Samuel has been bitten by a raccoon.
The Australian actor, who plays vampire Riley Biers in the third installment of the Twilight series, was attacked by the animal during a visit to a Canadian park.
“It drew blood and I was urging him to go to the hospital, but he was all Aussie about it,” his co-star Bryce Dallas Howard revealed.
Samuel, 23, came face to face with the raccoon in Stanley Park, Vancouver, while he and Dallas Howard were taking a break from filming.
“I was just taking pictures and there were raccoons there. Xavier was like, ‘Ooh I want a picture with a raccoon’,” Dallas Howard revealed. “He sat down and I was taking pictures and all of a sudden this raccoon launched on him and bit him.”
