Pete Doherty recently flew into New York with the hopes of performing a gig with Sean Lennon. Unfortunately for the train wreck of a rock star, customs officials put him back on a flight to London just a few hours later due to his shady past with drugs. A friend of the singer said “He thought he could get away with it. He was wrong.” Sean was pretty nice about it all saying that it wasn’t Pete’s fault that he missed the show last Thursday. I say otherwise because Pete shouldn’t have agreed to it knowing he hardly had a chance to get in the US.
