Jennifer Aniston will not be appearing in Scream 4, her rep has confirmed.

Recent reports claimed the 41-year-old star would be joining her best pal Courteney Cox in the fourth Scream flick.

It was reported that Aniston would be killed off in the opening sequence of the next film in the slasher franchise.

However, a rep for the Weinstein Company, which is behind the movie, said to UsMagazine.com that the reports about Aniston’s casting in the movie are ‘not true’.

The actress last appeared in a horror movie in Leprechaun, which was released in 1993.
