Sarah Jessica Parker: I’d never live anywhere but New York
After years of playing iconic Manhattanite Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed she herself is a passionate New Yorker, declaring she would not consider making a home in any other part of the world.
“I will never live anywhere else than New York because I just simply cannot leave the heartbeat of the city. I cannot do it,” she said.
Parker conceded that life in the big apple means she and husband Mathew Broderick, who last year added twin daughters to their family, have a more cramped existence.
“We have no space in our house in Manhattan. We’re bursting at the seams. I know there are homes with more than two or three bedrooms in the suburbs, but I just couldn’t move there, even to get extra room. I love New York too much,” the actress told Parade.
