Edward Furlong returns as serial killer Shane Casey for the CSI: New York season finale.
Psychopath Casey escapes from prison with a mission to hunt down one of the CSI team in the finale of season six of the US crime drama.
As Danny (Carmine Giovinazzo) and Lindsay (Anna Belknap) are about to get away on a much-needed holiday, they hear the news that murderer Shane Casey is once again on the loose.
“They’ve been working hard and want to take a little break with the family,” Belknap said.
“They find out right before they’re going to leave that Shane Casey, who had been caught at the beginning of the episode, has gotten out again.
“It’s more and more clear that their vacation is not going to go so well.”
Terminator 2 star Furlong has been a recurring character in the show since season 3.
“He’s going to have more than a minute to explain himself, why he feels the way he feels and what’s driven him to this place,” Giovinazzo said.
“We have a couple of really intense scenes, where he basically goes on and on about why he’s doing what he’s doing and why he’s so angry… Obviously he’s a psychopath and a murderer, but I feel like you have moments where you feel for him.”
The finale ends on a cliffhanger after Casey tracks Lindsay and Danny to their holiday home.
