Russell Brand all set for music career
Comic Russell Brand is reportedly set for a music career after recording tracks for new movie Get Him To The Greek.
Brand, 34, is reprising his role as rocker Aldous Snow in the film, which is a spin-off from Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
The first movie was a big hit and the second flick was written around Brand’s part as the off-beat rocker.
The comic is said to have recorded enough vocals for the flick to fill an album to make his role as a member of made-up band Infant Sorrow believable, and reports claim that bosses plan to release a soundtrack.
A source told UK newspaper The Sun: “Universal Pictures and the music arm of the company are very excited about the prospect of cashing in on the film and the music.
“Russell was a natural as a rock ‘n’ roll frontman and there’s a lot of scope for clever marketing campaigns around his role.”
