You’re Hired: Donald Trump to debut The Apprentice mark 2
NBC has hired New York penthouse magnate Donald Trump, 63.
Trump, whose most famous words are ‘You’re Fired’, will get to say them again – over and over.
Trump has been busy on sister show The Celebrity Apprentice but will revert to his former gig with the original of the show that each episode gave 14 ordinary folk the chance to get hired by Trump.
NBC and Trump – aka The Donald – announced on Wednesday they want to get America back to work. Accordingly the Apprentice 2.0 will bring in those who have lost their jobs. And those who have finished university but have no firm offers on the table.
The AP reported Trump plans to put winners on his payroll, while others will get advice on how to get a great job. The Apprentice was first aired in 2004. The new version is likely to return in the autumn on NBC.
