Oliver Stone’s Wall Street sequel will not be heading to cinemas for another six months after its studio put the release date back to September.
The movie sees Michael Douglas reprise his role as stockbroker Gordon Gekko and he is joined by Shia LeBeouf, Carey Mulligan and Josh Brolin.
According to Variety, the film had been due for release in the UK and US on April 23 but will now come out on September 23.
The movie is set to head for a gala screening at the Cannes Film Festival in two months time.
Bosses at 20th Century Fox reportedly thought the film would suit a release in the autumn better than the summer as there are already a number of titles scheduled for release this summer.
