Model and TV star Padma Lakshmi is celebrating the birth of her first child.
The ex-wife of author Salman Rushdie gave birth to a baby girl – Krishna Thea Lakshmi – in New York on Saturday.
But Top Chef host Lakshmi, 39, has refused to reveal the identity of the baby’s father, according to reports.
Her pregnancy, which she announced last October, was reportedly described by her doctor as “a medical miracle” as she had suffered from endometriosis for years.
