Despite his cancer diagnosis in October, Andrew Lloyd Webber is no longer fighting prostate cancer as the Broadway legend has gone into remission. He’s still recovering from surgery and treatment to remove his prostate gland and urges everyone to get regular check-ups. The composer considers himself lucky that a dormant E. Coli infection had led him to the unexpected doctor’s visit. He said “It is the hugest relief. We have arrived – at the end of a long journey – at the best possible outcome. In my case, I will be 62 next year and I have five children. Most importantly, I am alive, my children have a father.”
