Catherine Zeta-Jones has won praise for her French speaking skills.
The Welsh-born actress turned up at a party for her A Little Night Music cast mates at a French restaurant in New York.
And the owner of the eatery, Chez Josephine, was so impressed with her language abilities he claimed she was better at it than him.
A source revealed: “After a lengthy chat, the restaurant’s host, Jean-Claude Baker, who always greets everyone in French, told Catherine that she spoke better French than he did, and he was born in France.”
