While on the way to Boston via Toronto on Sunday morning, Weezer’s bus slid off the road just outside of Albany, New York after hitting a patch of ice. The band’s lead singer Rivers Cuomo complained of rib pain at the scene and was quickly brought to the hospital. His wife and daughter were also on board but they were not injured in the accident. One of the band’s assistants was also taken to the hospital after experiencing back pains. A cop at the scene said that it was amazing that the bus didn’t flip over. Drummer Josh Freese went on his Twitter to explain that there are “some injuries, but everyone’s alive and in one piece.”
