Adam Lambert visited CBS’ Early Show last week in New York City where the American Idol album addressed his sexually charged American Music Awards performance yet again. The 27-year old openly gay singer said “I admit, I did get carried away. But I don’t see anything wrong with it. I do see how people got offended and that was not my intention. My intention was just to interpret the lyrics to my song and have a good time up there.” I have to give kudos to Adam for sticking with his point of view and not getting lost in the whole aspect of marketability and what’s supposedly moral and audience friendly.
