Former Gucci designer Tom Ford has said he has ’struggled with depression’ throughout his life.
The 48-year-old admitted that he had a mid-life crisis when he reached the age of 40.
He said to Advocate: “I have always struggled throughout my life with depression. I’ve never made any of this public because… well… I’m not one to wear any of this on my sleeve.
“When someone would come into my office in the morning and ask me how I was I’d always go: ‘I’m great!’ But I wasn’t great.”
