Michael Jackson Portrait Up for Sale

Andy Warhol’s portrait of Michael Jackson is finally going up for sale. A similar portrait of the King of Pop was sold in early August to an anonymous bidder, but Christie’s auction house in New York City will be placing another portrait of the late singer by Warhol up for auction starting on November 10th. The 1984 silk-screened portrait is expected to sell for an impressive $500,000 to $700,000. I know that it’s MJ and I know that it’s Warhol but I don’t think that a portrait is worth that much. Have these people not heard of the recession too?
