Adam Lambert on Top

Coming in second place on American Idol isn’t so bad – just ask Adam Lambert. The season 8 runner up’s first album isn’t due until November 24th but it’s already made its way to the number 2 spot on the Amazon.com sales list last week. The singer is second on the list only to iconic diva Barbara Streisand who tops the chart with her new jazz album. What’s even more astonishing about Adam’s album is that it made the jump to the top of the list on its own. His record label RCA hadn’t announced that the album could be pre-ordered but that obviously didn’t stop his fans from spreading the news. And here’s an update, once the weekend rolled around, Adam made it to the top!
