Mickey Rourke is ‘perfect’ to play a sadistic mafia hit man says the author of a book on The Ice Man.
Rourke will play convicted killer ‘Ice Man’ Richard Kuklinski who murdered 50 homeless men in New York City before he was 18-years-old.
Kuklinski then turned professional killer for the Gambino mafia family, claiming more than 150 more victims.
“He’s really looking forward to being the Ice Man, and I think he’ll do a great job,” author Phil Carlo told the New York Post.
“He’s talking about it being his ‘Raging Bull.’”
Rourke and Carlo are co-producing the movie and will begin shooting in New York, New Jersey and Florida next year.
