Julia Roberts hunkers down with kids on India shoot
Julia Roberts has upset Indian locals by hiring 350 security guards.
Roberts has wasted no time in securing herself while she makes a movie titled Eat, Pray, Love near Delhi.
Locals report that bouncers are keeping them out of their temple at a Hindu retreat that is a setting for the movie adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert’s bestselling novel of the same name.
One said: “It’s the holiest time of the year and we must not be stopped from visiting our own temple.”
Roberts, 41, is accompanied by her three small children and has been given a bulletproof vehicle for her stay in Pataudi, which is an hour out of Delhi.
The movie tells the story of a successful New York writer whose divorce triggers a journey of self discovery in a number of seductive locations around the globe.
A policeman said: “Nobody can breach the cover. We have strict instructions.”
