Publishing house denies cashing in on Edward Kennedy’s death

A publishing house is denying that it is cashing in on the death of Edward Kennedy after announcing the release of a comic book based on his life HOURS before he died.

Bluewater Productions – which has published comic book biographies of Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton – has issued a statement saying it was an unfortunate coincidence.

Within 12 hours of the announcement of the Senator’s death, Bluewater Productions issued a statement saying: “The timing of our announcement of a biography comic based on the life of Ted Kennedy was in no way tied to the Senator’s declining health and ultimate passing.

“When Bluewater planned out the first year of biographies, Kennedy’s name was always at the top of the list.

“In fact, this issue has been in production since March and was solicited to retail shops through our national distributor in June.

“We will, of course, pay final respects to this American icon by adding a page to the completed issue to close the last chapter of his remarkable life.”

Senator Kennedy died in his home in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, after suffering brain cancer.
