Taylor Momsen says she would eat a boy her age alive

Teenage Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen says she can only date older men – insisting: “I would eat a boy my age alive.”
The 16-year-old calls herself “an artist” who has been in “lots of relationships” and knows that boys her own age just do not cut it.
“Boys are so much less mature than girls as it is,” she complains.
“My parents know that I’m not going to date someone who’s 16.”
Momsen admits it’s not just boys her age she has issues with.
“I live a very adult life. What am I going to do, hang out with high school kids? I just can’t relate to what they talk about – it seems so petty,” she says.
Momsen believes her acting means she is above needing to seek out a traditional college education.
“I’m an artist; I’m not going to use trigonometry,” she says matter-of-factly. “For most people college is a place where you learn about yourself, and I feel like I’m doing that already. I’m already independent.”
Momsen insists she is “responsible” and not “one of those crazy teens”.
And she insists that her new rock chick look – which she modeled on a Joan Jett photo – is just her “being myself”.
“I had long, pretty hair and it didn’t fit me,” she says.

“I’m pretty, but I’m not, like, a ‘pretty girl’. So I pulled a bunch of photos of Joan Jett and said, ‘Do that to my hair’.
“I know people were a little, um, taken aback. But it wasn’t me that changed – it was just that I decided to start being myself. It feels better.”
